New Moderator!
Since Arcadea lacked the time needed to take care of his duties, he was forced to step down and we were left without anyone to take his place. So we have given an other member his duties.
Please welcome the latest addition to the core team, Hermit!

Moderators and admins aren't just randomly selected, they come to fill a post that became vacant (like me taking arcadea's post when his computer finally gave in, and him being without a computer meant he couldn't fill that post any more).
And if that time comes, we'll think about who might be eligible. But only then.

the core made a wise choice imo.
congratulations hermit!
though nine or so months ago, i really would not guess you have a chance... [you know what i'm talking about, don't you]
btw: to be a proper replacement of arcadea, you will have to spell in a bit different way than you have so far

by posting useless junk on these forums you WON'T become a modder, only a spammer...
i'm looking forward what Cep will say about this
anyway: since all those changes in core, could you guys post what all of you do now [what are you in charge of]?
most of it is a common knowleadge, but for example i have no idea who's in charge of map 4 lately. so a up_to_date list would be nice...

hah! no.maybe even sirw00t
The only reasons I could be a moderator is that I know my lore, have a gargantuan postcount, and am on the forums 24/7 - I lack the not-spamming-ness and stability needed to moderate.
Anyway, you core members know how to pick your moderators - hermit will do a great job; we need more people who dish out "blunt truth" to irritating n00bx0rZ who dont know what "F.A.Q." means.

@ Quentin- The core did consider the "historical" significance, but hermit is not the same radical protest rebel he once was when I was getting voted on. Even I consider him a very good friend (regardless of sincerity of intentions), despite my having the most reason to be offended by his past actions.
That said, I am very happy to see hermit on the core team and think he will make an excellent moderator. His ability to spearhead those kinds of "public outcries" at the very least suggest leadership ability and he has since proven to have a great knowledge of Tamriel Lore and a willingness to promote Tamriel Rebuilt's fundamental principles. Many congratulations to you, hermit!

Trudging through the relentless Skyrim snowstorms, the lone Paladin looks on in sorrow as the land of Tamriel evolves without him; his mind occupied with other matters.

Thanks, Lord Gallant ... your good wishes mean especially much to me, with our, ummm, violent past.
You're a very valuable member of TR too ... I would certainly not object to your nomination again.

all this talk about new moderators. I highly doubt there will be much turnover for a while. The people in now are dealing with personal issues fairly well, dedicated, and planning on seeing this to the end.

I agree, the current Core are doing an excellent job at it, however thanks to those who feel I am dedicated atleast. Most don't realize it, but the Core is alot more then just being secretive, they do ALOT of work for the project, invaluable work and contributions, and sometimes it can get to them, I am sure it does, but they are a very dedicated bunch that sometimes doesn't get enough praise from the rest of us. I salute to you all, thanks you for everything!

Considering your new position, I have a feeling it may be later. I'm surviving. If I ever see you on #Tamriel, you can listen to me complain a bit, heh.
On hiatus, if you wish to contact me, my email adress is in my profile.
