Second: Is gold the only type of money in Tamriel? I mean, that's all I've ever heard about, but shouldn't there be copper, silver, etc? If there is, just tell me and I'll stop asking dumb questions. If there isn't, tell me why please!

Lore is important, but game-play comes first.

Differing values of money would make the game-play more cumbersome for a great majority of players. Simplicity reigns again!

Also I don't think that the money is actually 'gold' as in solid gold, the Roman currency was initially silver but there was very little silver in it after a few hundred years, the units and naming stuck but the value of the coins decreased because they were base metal plated with silver, I reckon the same is true of 'gold' in the Empire, it's actually closer to modern currency rather than being made of the pure metals.

hey the dwemer had coins iv seen them think, you can use them to what ever it is maybe when the other parts of tamriel are done well see some new currency i mean look at the argoniens they look like they should be using some sort of different currency, maybe just a few towns could have some new currency mentiond in law?

I'm pretty sure the common currency are gold pieces(aka drakes). Introducing new units of money would be hard, and you wouldn't be able to trade with them directly. If anything, you'd have to cash them in for gold before using them.
