transparent glass sheilds
a dude, Dongle, made a glass display case and a transparent greenhouse dome. so there could be a transparent glass (or forcefeild) type sheild. they could be similer to the sheilds that the jakals hold in halo.

I am perfectly aware of where the glass comes from. My question is what do they to do the glass to harden it to the point that it can be used as armour.
Also, the raw glass/glass armour is all green, but that there are windows and glass objects of other types that look normal, so they must have knowledge of glass blowing and making normal glass from sand.
Edit: The eyeroll/reply wasn't for you, Morden. You just beat me to replying. I sorry!

I think that he just meant similar in style to the ones from Halo, in that they were transparent shields that looked cool (I can't remember what they look like, I'm just assuming that's what he meant.)
Your thought of a "Ghostfence" shield gave me an idea; why not have a shield that is magical in nature, formed of moving magic in a material like the Ghostfence. And it will have high armour class, but instead of losing condition when hit, it would drain your mana reserves instead. When you have no magicka to power it, it turns off and leaves you more vulnerable.
(I don't think that there's any way that can be done with the game, but it's a nifty idea.)

Shadowmoon, are you the one making modern morrowind?
anyway, arth, im not talking about the window glass, im talking about the green glass that mordin said cant be made anymore, because the art is lost. but a man in mournhold will make glass armor for you if you have the raw glass. if the art has been lost, how is that guy still making it?

Oh, I wasnt talking to you. I think someone suggested that it was window glass before your post.anyway, arth, im not talking about the window glass, im talking about the green glass that mordin said cant be made anymore, because the art is lost. but a man in mournhold will make glass armor for you if you have the raw glass. if the art has been lost, how is that guy still making it?
And the pretense for using something like that:Eyeball88 wrote:Your thought of a "Ghostfence" shield gave me an idea; why not have a shield that is magical in nature, formed of moving magic in a material like the Ghostfence.
You get the framework for a shield, which is basically useless. Add soul gem, wizardy smithy type, presto. Soul-powered shield. Make it powerful, but don't allow enchantments on it for balance (since it's "enchantment" is a physical manifestation).
I have kleptomania, but when it gets really bad, I take something for it.
