Alright after my days of goofing off. I've finally got my butt on my chair and in front of my computer. Today is when I get back to modding Tamriel!

Yes, he has been modding. Welcome back to the working online population, Alligator!

Check out the available city interiors. Darconis has been a bit expanded and detailed. Maybe you'll find something there. If not, maybe you want to take Marog tower. It needs to be done soon, to enable us to reopen map 3.

I've been kinda goofing off by playing some online game and not getting done with those interiors I claimed. So after starting a new mod of mine, Argonians, I got that modding feeling back in me. So now I can finish those towers, and the houses I claimed way back when and start helping you get to group map 3.

Hey Hermit, I was wondering. I know how most countries are governed, but I can't remember how Germany was governed. So could you please tell me how Germany is governed, how you pick your leaders, and such?

WOW that was random.
on the subject of random,

DER BUS EST BLAU!
Und ich bin aus DEIN MUTTER!
Ich liebe meine blaue bus...
Den grossenwahn of E.T. Telefunieren zu nach Haus.

And off the subject of spam in another language, germany has a republic/parliament. so however they are governed, is how germany is. Except they call the prime minister "chancellor", i think.

Alligator: I don't precisely see the connection between this and the topic ... it's not like I cannot be PMed. And it's not like you couldn't look it up, like on the CIA's homepage in the CIA world factbook.

Then again, that is the CIA.

Okay, I shall explain.

It's a representative democracy. Basically every adult citizen has two votes (no need to register, as every citizen is registered iwth the goevrnment anyways). The first (direct vote) is for a candidate for parliament that is directly up for voting in your voting district. All major parties (as well as independents and small parties) compete there with an own candidate. The second vote goes straightly to a party. Again, all partioes registered can compete, but this time, it's only the party that is up for election, not a single person.

The Bundestag, Germany's parliament, which has a much stronger role in Germany than in the US, is then assembled from both the direct candidates (those who won their voting districts by simple majority) and the party votes, which are transferred proportionally to the party's percentage in party votes total (a minimum of 5% is required though, so small party party votes are basically lost) into seat numbers, which then are filled using a list of candidates that the party decided on before the vote (usually).

Parliament then convenes to elect a new chancellor out of their midst. Usually, factions in parliament vote in concert, though sometimes, renegade parliamentarians voting against what their factions have decided have already broizght a supposedly sure decision on a government to fall (this happened, I think, twice). Anyone who can get more than 50% of the votes behind himself is made chancellor. Usually, this requires more than one party to cooperate in forming a coalition to elect a chancellor, thus leading to a coalition government.

The chancellor then can elect ministers for the various ministries as he sees fit (though, in reality, the party apparatus as well as the coalition partners of the party the chancellor is from, whcih traditionally is the largest party, has a good say in that).

Does that answer your question? Next time, PM me with such concerns, though, mkay?

Wooty: That German is horrible. Really. You need to practice a lot more.
