Those would be very large claims, seeing as how they're provinces.

 I think he was probably refering to the pink claim dividers that are present on the Morrowind map asit was just taken from the one of the Morrowind claims maps on this site rather than the original map. :)

Prom, you're not doing all the provinces are ya?

Morrowind - Dunmer
Skyrim - Nords
Cyrodiil - Imperials
Black Marsh/Argonia - Argonians
Elswyer - Khajiit
Summerset Isle - Altmer
Valenwood - Bosmer
High Rock - Breton?
Hammerfell - Redguard?

and the one underneath MW is Black Marsh.

What's with the question marks about Bretons and Redguards? It's common knowledge that the Bretons are from High Rock and Redguards are (currently) from Hammerfell.

I've started messing about with the Summerset Isles part of the map in PSP7 making a more detailed coastline and then putting down some landscape, I don't expect my efforts to end up being used but I just like making maps. I know I'm sad, anyway l8rs.

Oh, BTW Prom, where did you get those mountains, trees etc. templates from? Did you make them yourself?

Actually it is very common knowledge as it's written in your game manual  LOL You don't have to be a lore junkie to read the manual, oh and it's also on the official site in the section about the provinces.

In any case you were correct on which was which.

Well at the southern borders of Morrowind there is the argon jungle and fierce marshland...Maybe we were mistaken, and thought that Morrowind reached a little ways into the Argon Jungle?

No we're not mistaken, the problem is that the Arena map Prom used (it was the one by Xanathar wasn't it?) is wrong, it includes a huge divider area between Morrowind, Argonia and Cyrodiil which is not depicted in the official combined map which appeared in Daggerfall and Battlespire.

This is actually what the old map looks like all put together in Daggerfall: http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/tenth_anniv/screens/annivdf_scrn04B.jpg

It won't fit this, Argonia sits to far out from Cyrodiil on Prom's and Xan's map and Tear's hinterland should overhang the Argonian coast by a fair amount.

Sounds like a good plan for dividing the Argonians, presumably the ones in the north and northeast would look more humanoid than the ones we saw in Morrowind, more like the Daggerfall Argonians? while the slave ones from MW would be more predominant in the southeast where more aquatic skills would be required?

Actually the Imperials built a town right outside Murkwood. Also where do you get this stuff on the last hist tree, there's more than one surely? Is there some bit of lore that says there's only one left? I've read something where they claim the Dwemer chopped them all down but I thought that was just myth along the lines of Vivec being born out of a kwama egg.

There's only 1 river coming from the north...and from the direction of it, it looks to be west of the Velothi Mountains.

You see there's two pointy 'crests' that point north? One is just west of the northernmost point of the eastern 'crest', and one further west at the base of that 'crest'. BTW If you want to stay accurate to all the official maps, cut off the northeasternmost part of you map - the bit that would be directly south of Tear, as all the Bethesda maps have Tear's immediate environs massively overhanging the coast of Argonia.

Westernmost river looks like Pryai river. On MW, N of Shipat-Shin and SW of Velothi Mountains, as haplo said. The other is maybe from Cyrodiil somewhere - but I don't know for sure.

BM towns I have in my map collection:

Thorn
Stormhold
Helstrom
Archon
Blackrose
Gidean
Lilmoth
Soulrest
Murkwood

You probably have these already though.

There are two bends on the border map which are to the left of the northernmost point on the map. The river is on the corner pointing into Argonia.

The second one is just east of the mountains which separate the Shipat-Shin region from Argon Jungle. It is approx. 5 cells east of Narsis (and south to the border).

I just found the two rivers he means on the MW map - neither has a name on the map yet, and both come from the Argon jungle - neither reaches further north than that, and neither is the Pryai river which flows from Cyrodiil down into Morrowind, it can't have it's source in Argonia because it would have to flow up over the velothi mountains and then back down again into MW, I know the rivers in the game don't work like real ones but the point still stands - rivers don't flow into higher ground.

The full list of Imperial settlements in Argonia is:

8 cities:

Archon
Blackrose
Gideon
Helstrom
Lilmoth
Stormhold
Soulrest
Thorn

8 towns:

Greenglade
Greenspring
Moonmarch
Riverwalk
Rockgrove
Rockpark
Seaspring
Tenmar Wall

16 villages:

Alten Corimont
Alten Meirhall
Alten Markmont
Branchgrove
Branchmont
Chase Creek
Chasepoint
Glenbridge
Longmont
Portdun Mont
Riverbridge
Rockguard
Rockpoint
Rockspring
Seafalls
Stone Wastes

an impressive total of at least 32 major Imperial settlements.
