submission: imperial meshes packs (by alcar) for OoT.

Post by Hermit »

The imperial packs are by alcar. The internal wall is by tuttle. Check for quality and please add. I have their permission to use them for OoT.

The first one may contain meshes already in OoT, but has a wealth of others not added yet, including a drawbridge.

hermit, that is a very good architecture pack, however, I think that the drawbridge on this site is also very good. Only the lever needs to be changed, but that has to be with yours too:

Look by models. Be warned however, it is very big.

Aaah that one! Yeah, it looks quite fine but, honestly I don't think we can use it, at least not in Morrowind. You'd have to desgin the whole fortress around this bridge and the (huge) moat it crosses, and no imperial city in MW could fulfill this as is. Besides, I don't think it really fits with the imperail tile set all that well (at least, Alcar's fits beter). This bridge would need a tile set all of it's own.

The dungeons set, however ... hmmmmm .... that one might be handy.

Ok, in the line for Cyrodiil then. :P

About the lever of the bridge in Alcar's pack, it doesn't fit with the imperial theme. I think a modeler needs to model a new one.

Hmmm. The lever looks reasonably okay to me ... if a modeler has some idle time though, we'd of course welcome another, more "imperial" lever. :)

Hehe, hermit, it is okay as a lever, but not as a imperial lever. It's just a slightly altered version of the model used in the propolyn chambers! And it has daedric runes on it! That lever certainly isn't imperial.

Daedric runes? Okay, I haven't looked at it closely enough I guess. Yeah, it needs a retexture then.

Alcar said it was just an example for earlier versions of his imperial pack, but he has forgotten this lever.
