In that case, one of them can be made into a unique item. I don't remember seeing Vorrheis' model, but knowing him, it was just as good as this one. This one is excellent, and deserves to be used.Vorrheis already made one of these.
There aren't enough unique weapons in the game anyhow.

Don't know. He hasn't posted since September and hasn't said a word about leaving. I hope he's alright.
@Asylum- That scimitar is simply beautiful!

As for where vorrheis is, he's probably opening up more stores for his business, urban outfitters - the last delay of his was because he was opening one (ironically in my town; in resepct I now buy stuff there semi-frequently ).
As for the scimitar, awesomeness incarnate - but the blade DOES need to be lengthened a bit IMO, and the textures look just a tad low-res.

Here is my point:The most stupid thing I've even heard is the lack of unique weapons. LOL. They are UNIQUE. There SHOULD NOT be many of them.
In Morrowind, every weapon type looks the same. Each steel longsword, Daedric war axe, and chitin spear is a carbon copy of the next. And sure, why not. But there are VERY few weapons that have their own unique mesh. I'm talking weapons like Volendrung, the Staff of Hasedoki, Staff of Magnus, the Cleaver of St. Felms, the Axe of the Queen of Bats, Chrysamere, and so on.
I cannot remember every weapon in the game that had a unique mesh, but I would estimate that they number no more than a dozen. Don't try to tell me that we don't have room for more.

Precisely. If we used one of the different looking scimitars for a unique-meshed unique item and then use the other as a normal Daedric scimitar, that would work well. Is that what you're getting at Dexter? Even if not, I think it's a good idea.

Goldbrand uses the standard katana mesh. It simply has a unique texture.(1) Goldbrand
(2) Queen of bats
(3) Staff of Hadesoki
(4) Staff of Magnus
(5) Trueflame
(6) Hopesfire
(7) Skullcrusher
( Fang of Hydenaki-whatever
(9) Bipolar blade
(10) Mace of slurring
(11) Volendrung
(12) Cleaver of St. Felms
(13) Cloudcleaver
(14) Chrysamere
(15) Dagger of Symmachus (I think)
(16) Daedric Crescent Blade
(17) That big big hammer...
(1 Mace of Aevenaar Stone Singer
(19) Scourge
(20) Spear of bitter mercy
(21) Fork of Horripilation (Yes, it IS considered a unique weapon mesh)
Cloudcleaver, Scourge and the Dagger of Symmachus are normal models, no texture change or anything.
so even with this list, there are (let's round up) 20 unique weapons in Morrowind and both expansions. 20 unique weapons? Come on.

I think putting in more unique weapons puts a creative twist on the Tamriel because in real life there is many unique things like weapons.

Scourge is actually a unique mesh. It just looks very similar to the daedric mace. Look very closely, now .
You are also forgetting Umbra, Kagrenac's tools, the Mace of Molag Bal, the Bipolar Blade, and probably others. The point is, I think, that there are unique weapons that are so important that they get mentioned in the history books, and then there are artifacts that are not so famous as that.
I really think that we should make the remaining few artifacts that were mentioned in lore but not in Morrowind (like Namira's Ring, Vaernima's Skull of Corruption, the Oghma Infinitum, and so on) and we should also create a fairly large number of artifacts that we never mentioned in the history books (like the Dagger of Symmachus, Mace of Slurring, Robe of the Lich, the Gravedigger, and so on). The new mesh Asylum made could easily become one of the lesser-known artifacts of daedric origin not found in the history books (and therefore not in the lore).
I think it would be prudent, though, to thorough document every lesser-known artifact that is made, so that not too many are created.

Did I ever tell any of you that I think L_G is a genius? Because I do.
I think that is an excellent idea, and sorta what I was going for. I am not a very big lore-buff, so I do not know much about the artifacts mentioned that were not included in the game. However, not only including those, but also making up new ones would make this project that much more interesting.

1) Correction. Skull of Corruption is Sheggy's atifact.
2) I've got a quest idea for this scimitar. What if we have some unique Daedra leader wielding this sword ? Like Dremora Officer (there were some Daedra like this when there was an attack on Battlespire).

I'd say that Drizzt Do'Urden would like those two scimitars, but then I remembered that his are two pounds each and Daedric is like 40 lbs for a Katana. Anyways, great weapon. Maybe the chubbier scimitar would be better as a unique weapon. It would be good for a Daedric or Vampire quest or Temple Quest.
Stendarr is the God of Mercy and Justice. Therefore, he must also be the bearer of Duck Tape, for only Mercy and Justice can use Duck Tape for the Good of man.

Thank you Dexter
Did I ever mention I think you are a kick-ass artist?
@Stalker- Thanks for making me laugh today I agree with you, this would go great in the hands of some kind of Dremora Lord or something similar. Ooo. I can feel the shivers now....
