Now that NPCs have been placed on Map 1 all questing is open for claiming. To better coordinate things Guild quests will be done by teams. If you wish to join a guild questing team there will be signup threads in the Quest Discussion forum.

Thank you! Maybe I should get around to that quest Majra suggested for my book.
No, as a matter of fact I do not know what you're talking about, and frankly I find you smelly and disappointing.

I've got some Fighters Guild quests sort of ready, but the NPCs are needed to finalize these proposals. When is Map 1 with NPCs included being released?

yinnie is working very hard to detail them, and make sure the path grids are correct. Im not sure if exterior NPCs were done though, I think they were for the cities, but there are camps etc. that may not have been

Ok, I'll just be patient then. Judging by Veet's post I thought they were all finished but just not posted yet.

Getting the NPC pack for Map 1

Post by Zalthor »

Could someone please help.
I've downloaded Map 1 [all three zips] and am able to navigate around Map 1 - which looks really fantastic - but so far I've found no other NPCs other the boat travel people.

What link do I need to people the map with NPCs please?

Thank you very much Lord Gothren for your fast reply.
I'll keep an eye out for it's release in that case.

LOL - hang on a moment - thanks to Vernon I'm finally getting to grips with learning the extreme basics of how to build my first room, furnish it and connect it with the outside world!!!

Taking on some quests is a bit erm advanced at this stage for me...but thanks for the vote of confidence!!

Best Regards

House quests...

Post by Anonymous »

If you've reached the top rung of a house, say Hlaalu, will you be able to perform/create a city/ region capital quest, perhapes nearly identical (except for the NPC's, and story line of course) to Raven Rock quest in Bloodmoon? If so, I'd be interested in joing a group that is creating Hlaalu quests, perhapes I have some interesting idea's for submission, perhapes.

If you are grandmaster of a house already, you'll start over(yet still retain your grandmaster title for the island of Vvardenfell) on the mainland, since the houses on the mainland feel that Vvardenfell and it's politics are less...official. If you are not yet a member of a great house, or at one of the lower ranks, you will be forced to rise to grandmaster of the house on Vvardenfell before you can 'join' the house on the mainland.

At least thats how it is with the Telvanni. Dres and Indoril are obviously going to be new houses, and House Redoran/Hlaalu might let you in easier if you have a lot of money/are very honorable.

Translating:
What the heck ? Why NPCs don't know a thing ? I'm Telvanni Archmagister. They need to know it. And why there's no "specific place" topic ?

??? That seems a bit weird ... so every Telvanni currently signed up with the mainland group are or have been Archmagister of the Telvanni in other parts of the world?
I guess you could argue that the Telvanni are strict about their signing up outlanders and whatever, and that the only reason they let you in on Vardenfell is 'cos their holdings are weak there, but still it seems a bit harsh of the stuffy old gits...

Yep, seems a bit weird doesn't it.

Especially when Port Telvannis is the Telvanni capital - I would expect a capital to always be more accepting of outlanders.

Anyhow - this definitely isn't the place to discuss it.

what the hell are you guys talking about:

Is there a FAQ section where i can read up on this or something? I have a few questions if you care to answer them here:

1. What's "Map 1"
2. What's all this about "guild questing team"? Morrowind is a single person game.
3. what's "claiming" mean?

this site creeps me out...lol

Yeah. Goto the top of the forum mainpage(not website mainpage, but forum mainpage), and click the first board (FAQ Section), and read all of the FAQs threads.

map 1 can be downloaded in the members download area along with its data files (objects) in a seperate download. Look at the announcement in the members download forum to see how to install TR and all that. As far as creation, read the FAQ forum to see how claims go around here.
