Breathtaking! I can envision parkland with trees on the undeveloped area inside the walls - and slums outside.

wait...so now we can't post pictures of our personal projects? or is this about the Almalexia/Mournhold thing? If it is, I didn't know it, I just thought he was showing off his work...

Yup, will have to be a bolt-on. It's a deep impact on the main game since it will change all of mournhold. But it will be a very good one I guess, though it will render all mods that affect original mournhold useless

We don't stop you :P I would perhaps even use the mod myself, since mournhold should have been made an interior from the beginning anyways.

Why ban you? I only would encourage you in this! so long as you manage to get the grid paths and the original Tribunal quests patched up and running in outside Mournhold ... and manage to make the city run well FPS-wise with high-poly Mournhold in there ... oh, and you could always expant the quarters with TR's Indoril models (like those Asylum made, Majra's large houses, and that stuff).

Oh, and please give us your walls too. We may need them even for basic Mournhold. :)

Same goes for the towers. Please?

that's great. Oh, looks like I'll have to redo Almalexia again, then.

And isn't it, like, 4 am where you live? Just wondering.

Usually i try not to poston topics that do not concern me, but this, this, this. This is... rather amazing. Why do you not use your talents on TR exteriors?

Anyhow, as to help, my plate`s full. But do not fret, others will come.

could have sworn id posted on here before, thats some nice work there. i did something like this myself which is why I was granted the Almalexia claim. but we decided to remove what I had done (so it never got to the level of completion your mod shows) to save FPS. but I always hoped to get mournhold as an exterior.

the problem comes that we already have it ingame, and the FPS hit would be very large if we were to put your stuff in. however, download the almalexia plugin and try and copy your statics in, see if they fit on the island we made. id love to see this with our Almalexia around it.

I explained above why this wasnt implemented before - I did this (not quite as well but it looked good enough) but after making enough of Almalexia around it Koth and I decided that it would be best to take it out, as someone submitted a script that would make sure the player could never go over the walls, or even see over - anything that should be viewable over was left in.

I always wanted to be able to go into MH, so maybe now our PCs are still improving we could consider adding it as they could support it. send the file and ill see if i cant at least attempt it.

As we move closer to Oblivion (I don't mean to startle anyone), a lot of community members (myself included) are really going out of their way to beef up their PC's. I recently bought another 512 meg stick of RAM, and will start the search for a much better Video Card within the month.

Point being, I'm pretty sure that those who download the mod will be perfectly fine with having an outdoor Mournhold. I would look forward to it.

Well your going to have to keep dreaming. The problem with Morrowind is not your hardware, it's software and the game engine.

However, looking at the current Outdoors Mournhold mod, I beg to differ. True, Morrowind's engine is quite limited. However, after a rather judicous upgrade to my rig, I noticed that rather than a playable framerate of 5, I found I could walk around and through this amazing city utilizing all of 15 frames per second. In between that time, I never used FPS Optimizer or any other type of software.

Edit: I have a fairly good PC as it is, before I bought the 512 megs of RAM, I already had 600+. The whole 5 fps to 15 was going from integrated graphics to a namebrand Video Card.

I did somthing in mine that is in a way similar to this. I placed all the tall obects into the cells that they are not naturally in, so that in Godsreach and the Great Bazaar you can see the spires of Brindisi Dorom and the Temple.

That's actually quite a nice idea for a little TR bolt-on, just to enhance the idea that Mournhold is a part of the real world, not some magical place. Obviously it involves minor changes to original game cells, or we'd include it anyway, but stick it here please! :D
