New to TR

Post by Wolf »

Hello everyone! I hope I'm not too late in joining. I just saw this site not too long ago, and I decided to join. I am currently working on tutorials. I am not so good with the editor yet, but by being a part of this team I hope to get better.

Welcome to TR! Don't worry, you're not too late at all. We all started pretty much as you, so you're right on schedule. When you're comfortable with the editor, claim a few interiors, make a few quests, etc. If you're otherwise busy/not enjoying the TES construction set, claim a book or two!

I hope your stay on TR is beneficial, and look forward to working with you in the future.

I've got a question about interiors. Along with the static, misc, etc. objects, do I need to make npcs for them too? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new to this.

Nope. NPCs are added later. As creator of the interior, you have first pick over the NPCs, but if you do not wish to add them yourself, you can just leave a note with your desired NPC information in the readme that goes along with the interior.

Welcome to TR!!

It's a bit surprising actually, lately a lot of people joined but you are one of the few who still posts a welcome message. As for getting better, trust me, you'll get better just by doing things for TR :).

Yes, welcome to TR! May your stay be long and fruitful.

@Negrodomous - The HNMD was silently, wordlessly, and slowly removed from our minds when sirwootalot seemingly mutilated it's innocence. This loss was furthered even more when the dance's founder, stumpytheguar, left. This is the first I've seen it since that happened.

I downloaded Map 1, but it keeps crashing. I went into the editor but I get a lot of error notices about the objects. Do you know what I should do?

Welcome...and hello all. Got my Morrowind back. Don't know if I will be doing anything to help. However that may change with time. Happy new years!

Welcome Wolf, happy modding!

I think they should make it customary for TR members to do the happy dance when ever theres a new member joining. I was shown the happy dance when i first joined, so im passing it on.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I have a question though. I downloaded map one and the objects of Tamriel, but I still get errors. I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help?
