Lovely! Is the expression 'to the lash'? I think this is the best I've seen you do so far.Who is she? She looks like doctor Beverly Crusher, from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Is she a kind necromancer?

In my search for the true Hammerfellian culture, I discovered that no one culture can define it, and I now realise that only a few of my pieces of work are true to it. I am starting with armour clothing jewellery and focusing on Lutes piece as he has obviously defined the culture or found it eitehr way the pieces he produce are what we're goign for and now I have the challenging job of following it, although I must admit, it is very rewarding when you discover how to do it. It has a more tribal feel to it than Arabian, where as the Arabian feel appears more in architecture, but still isn't quite Arabian, it's more psychedelic, if that makes sense. There are many animal references and it's extremely alien.
I will show you what I mean.
Before discovering this I tried to make Jales request at a piece of tortoise shell armour.
It's not bad... but nothing revolutionary.
I spoke with Sload a lot last night, and although I had started my journey into the archaeology of Hammerfellian culture, he helped me along. Although he may not notice, he did. And here's what I came up with for the newer type of Tortoise shell armour:

Now you may still not like it, but it is far more like Hammerfell armour. Very, very strange.
And now I have to take the new found culture to the stuff El Scumbago has posted.

Those holes to show off his nipple-piercings are a nice touch...
The entire armour looks very Morrowindish...

He needs some armor at the waist other than the Skull Cup/ belt buckle. It leaves an entire area open for cuts or smashes.

The undersuit looks good. I like the blue and yellow Egyptian touch. The puffed trouser legs I like too. The skull is a nice touch.
However, the armour is not complete, the knees are also left un-protected, and I also wonder what the holes are for.
If you want to do partial armour, be my guest, but put the heavy plating in the most effective places.
If you have to attach something with laces it is best to have the laces run the shortest possible distance. The leg-guards should be connected to the back of the calves, and not to the belt, because then the armour will move whenever the wearer bends his legs, for instance when he walks.
You should also consider what would happen if the wearer was struck and a lace was severed.
The shoes look like they are even worse to walk in than Dutch wooden shoes, and the armour is on the bottom. Convex shoes with stiff soles, do not pleasant walking make.
The concept is very nice, but it does need some more designing.

So much for my week off!
It doesn't mater the comissions i have done, and have gone to their owens, as there are onyl 2 that really needed to be finsiehd soon, and I got to study Andrew Loomis, who may i say is very overrated, and i hardly got anything useful from the afces section. However, I got halfway through the positioning part and thatw as quit useful.

Thanks Lute, as for the malooc, I'd prefer some crits from both of you
but thanks alot.
As for the Hammerfell WSG 17, i would lveo to say I've been pre occupied with this, but it took me an hour and a half on photoshop which im really proud of

It's a bit too strange for TR anyway, more rainforest suited.

Okay, my critisizm. His head up makes him look like he's really straining to pick up that club. If that was the intention, it doesn't really look nearly heavy enough for that, considering his muscles, and I think I would rather worship a god who wasn't in pain to lift his weapon. If it wasn't, I suggest having him looking angrily towards the ground instead.

Indeed the malooc is cool, but bear in mind this is meant to be their Satan, the antagonist. He should be eeeeeeevil! I think having a roaring, orcish mouth coming out from under the mask would do it: He is the god of their enemies the orcs, hence his place in their pantheon.

I don't know why my post didn't go through.. ah well
As for a closer inspection on Malooc, A lot of my thoughts are similar to what Sload pointed out. It's insignificant, but his structure isn't holding confidence: Something that makes it that much more of a brunt against the Make-way savior.
The Bird-primate has a very distinguished beak, at first glance. such a beak (primarily the curve) is a sure shot made for specific foods, if he can feed himself with his forearms. Does he have a neck, or is it just base shoulder? How tall can he stand? Does he have all the moving capabilities of a gorilla?

Yer, I posted about it on Morgoths site.
Err, it has much less mobility in it's arms than a gorilla, and actually wans't intedned to looks like a girlla at all I am scared it's much more of a cross of 2 animals :S.

Anyway sorry I ave been pissing about recently art wise, by the end of this year, I will have more spare time, but Only a bit more devoted to TR, atleast I will have time then
Anyway, here is a concept for a cyclops, don't even know if we're gonna have them, but Thrignar will know, there are some pretty *
messed up cycloptic things* out there.
So here's my Cyclops concept, basically, because they are basically twice the height of a human, they have always been mythologically scary. However, cyclops is just a human-like race. They get scare of thing they don't understand. Hence why they end up killing humans. However if you ever befriended a cyclops, you'd soon discover they are all every talented and often drunk on Sujamma, which they can carry round (as depicted) in a leather flask. and by talented, I mean musically. Scientists have said that human and (beast races in ES) are only successful, because of our thumbs, well the cyclops has an extra thumb, in place of it's pinkie, although, it just looks a bit longer, it can stretch much further. So they can pick up a human lute, and a homemade pan flute, and play like gods.

* Never search Cyclops Kitten on google. EVER. Or if you do, have a bucket nearby or have your laptop near the toilet, it's not pretty.
Anyway I'll just stop talking now and let you go search cyclops kitten on Google Images.

wonderful, Pound! I'm very impressed with both the cyclops and the woven armour. I might try drawing that cyclops of yours, he looks like he's fun to draw.
and no worries about the poor kitty. He's photoshopped

The Kitten called Cy was proved to be real.
Awesoem if you ask me. But I was talking about a picture of a dead baby, who had a deformed oblong eye, with 2 pupils in it in the middle of his face, literally a cyclops, obviosuly taken after birth, after death.
ANYWAY, thanks dude, and teh cyclops is fun to drawm i really should start putting some seriosu anatomy into action, but that was just a doodle taht turned out good, also, the woven armour I'm not happy with, but meh, what can you say.
BTW add some of you stuff to the cyclops, I'd be interested in how you can customise it, 2 imaginations is better than one.
