the dres dress ( :p ) Or, it could be split at teh waiste to make a shrt and skirt. or the skirt could be made less pufy and it could become a robe. or both! :p

I think the Dres dress and robe look very nice. I'm not sure about the shirt though. I haven't payed much attention to clothes in Morrowind.

Personally, I would not mind at all playing Morrowind to woman actually having luxuries. I mean, the guys can spend there earnings on weapons, armour, and invest in Solsthiems colonies, but women could finally spend there money on something femine
(yay, no more ripped women stronger than you... orcs -cough-)
Yea, so basically I really want these in the games
+
wouldn't an orc girl just look so pretty in one of those skirts, even if they're not dres...

Grrarr! Really great clothing! But, the white and red dress looks kinda... tight in the middle.

Morrowind got a REALLY lack of common clothing, both male and female!

well, there's a non-tr writing thread, so why not a drawing one?
post all things not consering consept art here. but the rules for the forum go here too. please host the pics on an outside source, and try not to spam this thread to much.
*waits quietly in the corner to see if her idea works*
ill start out whith one of my older drawings. Barenziah before she went to court and stuff(this was in my sig a wile back) http://img78.imageshack.us/my.php?image=0608050yr.jpg

{Edited By Túrelio}
It's ok Lady N to put this with the rest of your artwork. If I get approval to make some more specific threads(example a Non-TR art thread) than we can move it there. Btw very nice, I like this one very much.

Lots of lovely eyecandy here, Lady N. I agree that you should definitely pursue a career in fashion design... Your creativity is quite impressive. :)

As far as I can tell, each design presented seems to fit rather nicely with the chosen culture/faction in both style and color choices. I agree with Graff... I would also be interested in seeing what your imagination would "magic up" regarding Telvanni clothing. ;)

Those pics you drew are pretty amazing, Lady N. I have to say, all these pieces of art that people are drawing(especially you)surpass anything I can draw. Geez, you really are an artist. You really are talented. Oh well, keep up the good work.

I would upload my own concept art on another topic, but (1)My digi-cam is missing, and I'm too lazy to find it, and (2)I lost the USB mini cable for it, so I can't upload the pics unless I ask my dad, and I'm too embarassed to ask him if I can upload pics that I drew.

Nice job, this is definitely what I had in mind for the Telvanni Clothing :).

*Thumbs up*

Any chance you could show me what sort of patterning will be on the expensive one?

well, the elven like patern is on the sides of the sleaves, pants, and skirt hem. the angular patern is on the trim at the end of the pants, shirt, and skirt. other then that, im duing a color version.

lazy, lazy lady. ah, school is taking up alot of time, and most of my drawing skillz are consentrated in making the diversion thread into a manga. so, untill i get some time to draw these, here are the basics for one hamerfell tileset (asuming there are seeral like in the other provinces) i propose. Its based on the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou in Morocco ( a unesco world heritege site). i loved hte achitecture from the moment i layed eyes on it, and think that it would realy fit quite well in hammerfel (maybe make the color less red though)

here are the reference pics:

if you think this is alot of pics, think again. i like to colect alot of insperation before drawing something big :P

p.s. those telvani clothing are geting colored.... slowly...

Absolutely excellent job Lady N, and the photos are awesome.
And here's a question -bit out of topic- about these clothes.
When modelled, will they be compatible with Better Bodies?
Yeah, I know it would be like enforcing the use of a Bold-On if modelled that way, but I'm rather curious.
Again, your work is stunning, keep it up! :))

i found the pics on the internet mostly. i saw the firts one in the sept 05 isue of National geographic ( part of the special on africa) and i instnaly fell in lve whith them. now that were considering building hammerfell, i just thought "wow! these would fit realy well!". then i did a google search for some more pics, and here we have it.
about BB comapatibility, i have no idea. i dont know how to model -- yet. i tried to stick to the original morowing way duing clothing, but i gues they would fit whith bb too... but i have no idea.

wow, this is the most replies if goten in one day :) it seems reference pics are more popular then consept art :P

Those pictures are really good, although I could still see them being a bit differently, mostly more of a costal/port-like nature, with harbors, awnings, maybe a few more Middle Eastern/Indian looking structures as well. Maybe a bit more diverse, but those would definintly make for some good building types.

Lady N wrote:

That would seem pretty natural to me, you can't possibly compare the beauty of such buildings with the sunset lighting them when shown in a photo and a drawing.
All that concept art is useful for -imo always- is to provide a more clear picture of the object, with a suitable angle for the modeller.

You found via National G. huh? That's great, I was actually hoping to pick up ideas from Disney's Alladin!
I'll just go drop myself over a cliff...

whith that i agree. it would take me a long time to draw anything even cose to that. i got a saner now, so my art will no longer be in photo mode.

knighmare: i belive that dexter is drawing art of of these, and Vernon will eventualy model them. if you want to have a go at it, be my guest.

anyhow... now that i dont have to draw architecure ( since i have several other people who want to do it, wich is great, cuse i cant draw decent buildings) im gona do some redguard clothes (ah... familiar teritory)

heres #1. i rather quik drawing, i need to know if its ok lore wise or not. i didnt use a thumbnail cause i upladed this to photo bucket instead of image shack.

the corset like peice cosists of 4 flaps (shown i detail) that are pined together from the bust line to the hips. after that they jsut hang loose. beneath i drew a pair of bagy pants. the shirt consist of a long pice of fabric raped around the bust and tied at teh neck on the back. the sleaves are separate. this could probely be separated and made into separate peices of clothing ( sleaves, pants, shirt, and corset). the shoes arent part of this outfit, i just decided to draw tehm to give yall an idea.

ah, and there we see who dosent read my coments :P

the "shield" is a magnification of the strap things of the skirt. i drew it in detail because it was kind ahard to make out in the original imege.

uh

I think next to the redguard isn't a shield, its an enlargement of the skirt part so you can see it better.

And very good job on the redguard clothing, but I thought redguard clothes were plain? I saw that in an armor thread, they said because the armor was smooth it looked redguard...

some more clothing. nothing fancy this time, only some common.

lests start of whith the only uniq pice in this set: the dress for the cult(if thats teh right word) or Diabella. i just felt like drawing something like this... so i did :P

a vest and skirt. the vest is probely ment to be worn over a shirt... but i didnt feel like drawing that :p

and the final. i got sorta bored, and desied to draw a little composition thing, and this is it. it basicly shows even more redguard clothing but not in the standard format i use. teh left most one probely wouldnt be so common... more for the entertainer people :P
