It seems the normals are flipped. If you're using blender press Ctrl+N in edit mode and it's going to regulate them to outside. It can also be the set smooth function you've used so if this doesn't work try to split the pieces as you need them in order to get what you want. To split a couple of faces simply select them and press Y. Hope that helps.

I'm still having trouble I'm sure what you meant by splitint the Faces . You mean split then re atach it?

Anyway, I atarted working on the Snake Gargoyle things Lutemoth came up with

I still need to make the leg. There is a large tail there, but I whanted to get a close before show you the Face size. After Mirror the body I'll add more detail stuff, add an Armature and pump out poses if it's worth anything. Get maybe ten statues out of one mesh if I managed to model it right.

remember set smooth does does export so you can have set smooth set and it will work in-game

smooth does does export

What What is happening?

In Object mode go to Edit and click on "Set Smooth". It's next to "Set Solid" button.

The concept is not mine.

I I did flesh out the bar design in three ways.

1 added detail to the counter top
2 added trim to the base
3 created a one corner and a new end.

I may add a second corner and a hinged door

I posted here to show off but will but will post the image in the FCG I pulled the concept from.
