Since I've received Admin and FTP access to TR I have been searching for the file(s) that code(s) for the sidebar so I can add more pages/links, like music.
EDIT - (And remove the stupid non-link/page "Lore" line, of which Books is a subsection)
However we do have to be wary of the amount of media we host here; the data processed really adds up and that means the cost adds up as well. Garfield has mentioned before the strains of paying for the server when we had a lot of bandwidth usage.

Which is why pictures can be hosted on ImageShack and videos can be hosted on YouTube. Embedding them on a page takes up a lot less bandwidth than hosting them!Haplo wrote:However we do have to be wary of the amount of media we host here; the data processed really adds up and that means the cost adds up as well. The Idea which really stands out for me in this thread is Theo's about making an interactive map which you can click on a local and get a screenshot with a bit of writing. If we embed (like Gez said) content rather than hosting it, then I'm sure there will be enough bandwidth to have a map like that.
The map doesn't even have to have many places or links of interest. It would still be a great way for people who want to learn about the site or who follow our progress, make the project seem really alive and be awesomesauce in general if it had only 6 points of interest -- as long as they'd be spread out.
Say you had 6 spots tightly nitted in a little part of map one. That would be dull. But if they'd be spread out, say, one for each capital (or large region ect.) then it makes a much larger impression.
