I'm going to guess end of semester woes and whatnot. Don't worry about it, I think a good half of us are running in a lowered capacity this month.

I'll replace that second one later. Apparently image shack decided it couldn't handle this one as my usual 1400 by xxxx so it downgraded it D:

Edit: darnit, quagmire thread locked before I could get all my stuff up.

mmm I'll post more when my headache is gone.

edit:

Was thinking.. dunedwellers cant be completely nomadic. There are always places in the desert that can support small clusters of life. Found a few inspiring pictures for cliff/cave dwellings.

Too bad I dont live at home any more, we have a camel bone box that looks exactly like your ivory one- and I could photo it for a texture.

sweet stuff :) have you thought about doing some furniture? we could really use it righ now.

Yes actually :) thats what I was warming up to do. I was looking in some of the old concept group threats for unfinished things. Have some furniture and exterior ideas. As always I have a bazillion ideas for food lol. Hammerfell feels like an outdoor vendor sort of place. Am I on track?

yep, hammerfell is defiantly "an outdoor vendor sort of place." there was a WSG on that in the very beginning. looking through old threads is a great idea btw, there is a lot of great stuff that could use polishing out there :)

I am a kid in a candy store. I'm an outdoor street vendor sort of person. Do you know if there have been any other posts on animals or floral containers? I think I'll have to do a thorough search.

Here is a screen of the pot and basket meshes, made by Eyeball. The pots were based off some of lutemoth's designs. We have yet to texture them, so if you have any yoku pattern ideas we could use them as well.

Part a of batch 1 lol. The flora is more of a benefit for me, a ref while I think of names and edibles gathered from it.

thats really quite something, did you draw that on paper or by stylus or something... it looks really good.

Its 100% digital. Did most of the blocking in with my mouse, for whatever reason I have a real hard time starting something with my stylus, it just comes out messy, details with stylus tho.

wonderful! my only problem with it is that its very dark... lighten it up some, or maybe just add some strong highlights from the fire to give it extra punch

He's got a low tarp over him to protect from the sun. But yes, definately need reflected light and light from that fire of his.
It looks a little dark because he's still got a white background. The darks are actually a medium dark gray. Can't wait to add some weird dried animals hanging above him. xD Thanks a ton for the crit :D

I didn't have any time to edit this but I'll post it anyway. Pretend the wood stuff there is bamboo boards, heck it doesnt look much different lol. Like.. idk the best way to explain it is its compressed bamboo so its kinda like plywood only not shredded and very tough and smooth. I still havent gotten a response on a yes or no to bamboo ply boards so I'll just keep it here for now. ex:bambooboard

The problem of bamboowood is that it looks exactly like wood and not at all like bamboo, so it's like taking the easy way out...

It's not needed -- you can replace them easily by a panel of wicker, or leather stretched over a bamboo frame, or of bamboo slats that are recognizable as bamboo.
