Bah, I tried making a sharp shadow under his chin, but it kept looking worse the more I tried... Same goes for the eyes, as I copt out with a vacant stare

I like the vacant stare.
It makes the body look like the lifeless shell that it is. He also looks stoned... or
drunk with power. You've done an inredible job with the detail, especially on the guy's shoulders and around the neck.
In reference to the zombies:
"Vacant with a hint of sadness, like a drunk who has lost a bet"
Ten points for whoever can tell me which zombie movie that's from.

It looked like what you intended to me.
And I must admit that they look awesome. If I were a movie producer I would have you do movie posters. Or if I were a comic book.. maker, I would have you do covers. Or if I were an editor, I would have you do book illustrations. Or if I were a MMOG designer, I'd have you do illustrations for promos. Inbetween the promo image I've been erasing and redrawing constantly, I popped this one out: Hammerfell's Dark Brotherhood outfit. I tried making it as awesome as Cyrodiil's assassin outfit (and shaded the eyes after Eyeball inspired me with a certain E3 trailer)

Typical colouring on this (bah-lack), materials are cured leather cuirass and pauldrons, quilted bracers/greaves with additional leather guards. Also, cured leather jutti with ornate fabric on the ankle-wear
If any armour involving the dark brotherhood is implimented, I'd recommend keeping it hush-hush from the public henceforth, as it's one of those options that should be explored for itself (save for a wisper about it)

*cough* Assassins Creed *cough* And it looks more awesome than Cyrodiils one. I love the arabian style. And, yes i would love to keep it secret, I don't know why beth released the armour, it is what you wnat to find out yourself. But I would love a go at a Heavy Armour DB set. Cus i started making an orc, and I wnated him to be DB, but heavy armor, so really there were no options. I might take a shot.
BTW Lute, you can base all you wnat on assassins creed if that was the E3 trailer, becuase i am so hyped bout that game!

Love the assassins outfit, it has assissins qualities and still looks very Hammerfellish.
Great!

sex.
athlthough it might be a bit dificult moving stealth-ly with those huge sleaves and pants...
creepy assasin is sneaking through the streets of sentinel at the darkest hour. everything is silent, not a single sould is around. he climbs the pillar of a particularly expensive house, but his pant leg gets cought in teh intricate carvings and he topples down to the ground, creating a huge clamor and alerting the guards
or not
ube arwsome again.

Very nice. You've put even more detail then usual into some of those peices and it shows.
Did you ink the shadows on the helmet picture? It looks great. Eyeball sent me the link to the AC trailer as well... one of the sweetest CGI squences i've ever seen.

Seriously, as soon as that game comes out I'm ditching you guys and rebuilding Tamriel with its engine... and then killing people in it and climbing walls to get away.
Watched that trailer like 700 times this week.
I think this will be my next set of armor to model.

WOAH!!!!! The only thing that i can't even start to contemplate bad about it, is the contrast between the drakness of some of the zombies, and the lightness of others. Maybe you can smudge it a bit, but evrything else is fantatic.

awoooo, I've been staring at this picture for ages, Macar! It's a good touch that, amongst the darkness, the undead have use of a muted, mummified touch, while the plighted swordsmen are vibrant. You'se done a fantastic job
Following the assassin's outfit, I'll try suiting for another guild:

This is a burglar's outfit in full utility. The chestplate/greaves are hardened leather, the rest is cloth fabric, and a soft-treatment leather for the utility containers.

Well to be fair to Lutmoth, there isn't much that is seriously needed at the moment. And if there is, then tell us. Speaking of that, I have a ton of stuff to add to mine, i have several drawings, and an idea for a pirate, and i 'bagsy' pirates Lute, you've had thieves and DB...... PLEASSEEEEE *puppy eyes*

Hugging a giant turtle's apt to get you squished, Sload. And the shell might be kinda hard and pokey.
But I have to agree,Lutemoth, that armor drawing, and all your drawings, looks bitchin'. Now if only we had someone modelling it to put in game.

Welcome back Lute
Now if only we had someone modelling it to put in game.
One thing at a time Zalidrax... one thing at a time.
We got our hands full with architecture and other things at the moment, though Eyeball has the Serpentine and palace guard armor in a WIP state I believe.

All the principalities and boundaries the nations have placed on the land dissolve under the moving sand in the desert. I could never tell if I was in Antiphyllos or Bergama, and few of the inhabitants could tell me. For them, and so it came to me, we were simply in the Alik'r.

Dunno bout you needing to improve colourign in. I think that is a very unique way of colouring in, and I very much like it. It's good too see that soemtimes pencils are still used

once again, briliant work.
could i make one small request. ... fine, several sort of medium sized requests.
1) planar views of your orgazmic god statues. they need to be modeled!
2)more god statues!
3)you made a few textures a while back. i imported em into oblivion and they look simply perfect. id love it if you could make a few more tapestries.

I like the armor a lot... thats definately one i would like to have as a symbol of unique Yokudan culture... a contrast from the Forbearers and Crowns. I think its the battle cloth and bead work that makes it really unique.

I would like to second this, but also comment that Morwha really isn't supposed to be that sexy. She's Mara's equal, not Dibella's. I'd make her more wide..and the gloves are really modern.

Here we are, apologies for posting this late (my sister needed some help moving)
Ruptga: tall papa

Leki: saint of the spirit sword

Yokudan gods may look archaeic, but that doesn't mean Redguards are poor sculpturists, far from it.
I took the initial design of beta Morwha for Leki, as a saint of swordsmanship looks a bit more fitting in that fashion. Also, I had more tapestry designs but I scrapped them for lack of quality. When I post enough, I'll pick some out for cg-colouring..
On the same note, I'm envisioning these gods to be vibrantly coloured (as opposed to natural skin tones), as would be a Regada fashion for masked gods
And yes, a newer Morwha is underway, and inspired by the statue on Stros M'kai.

-Prepare for Sload-level harshness of criticism-
I don't like Ruptga at all. He's just creepy looking and not very regal at all. He reminds me a bit of Mr. Toad if Mr. Toad is a serial killer with a frail dying and underdeveloped body.
Also, I very strongly feel that he needs to be holding a snake or have one wrapped around him or something. The important part is that its head is right next to Ruptga's and facing the opposite direction. Akatosh's statue gives the same idea, only he has a dragon head and a human head. It's all about the Enantiomorph, and means something I don't really understand.
I also object to Morwha's sexiness. She's the mother goddess, equivelent to Mara, not to Dibella. And the gloves are a bit modern. Make her wider and older ish. Oh, and it would be cool if she had four breasts
Lastly, Tava seems very buggy and not very birdy. Make her wings more feathery maybe.
Oh, and I absolutely love the way they all have masks for faces.
