I think I did this pretty well, except there are a few places where I may have used middle class containers, but only because I couldn't find any lower class versions of them (sacks in particular). If this is what you meant, then are there lower class sacks? If so, I'll gladly use them in the future.
I was actually referring to middle class pots/plates/jugs/other misc. items that I saw; not containers, as they kinda blur class lines in OB (most specifically, barrels and crates).

Hmm, whenever I try and run it, I get an error saying 'Not a valid TES file'. I've had this problem before, but have forgotten how to get around it; I think it has something to do with the different CS's overruling dependencies or filetypes or something?

EDIT - ah fixed it. :-)

Hey, I just downloaded the 30-day trial for 3ds max, and here is my first work (I followed the chess tutorial)

Whatcha think? I really like 3ds max compared to Blender, and I think I may get into 3d modelling some more with it. :D

Nice work Neenja. More meshers are always a welcome sight! Don't forget to work on your UV wrapping skills as well though.

Well, I've actually resolved to learn Blender. Yes, I know, shock shock. Anyways, I've been following a really great book penned by Tony Mullen that does a really great job of teaching blender. I'm almost finished with the materials chapter; soon I'll move on to rigging. In the mean time, I thought I might do a little modeling for the project (if you wish to use it so.) Here's a palm-like tree thing that I'm working on from a concept by Morden. I don't think anyone else is working on it...if so, correct me. Anyways, Critique and comments please!

Obviously in early stages. I haven't put the leaves in yet! XP

Progress on the palm: I got rid of the weird rings and reduced the poly count.

Also, here's a picture of a WIP i'm making of a fake pokemon design someone on another forum made:

Woo! Triple posts! Sorry, but it's been about a month now. I picked up the palm again tonight, added more leaves. My current plan is to have a texture over the triangle leaves that is more palm-ish than the current very triangular leaves.

Of course, suggestions are highly welcome.

Progress is slow, but it looks good so far Neenja. Btw, don't you hate it when you have to use the refine tool on a line?...

Progress is slow,
Yeah. I actually hadn't worked on it for about a month. I guess if I want to work on models for TR, I should work on them more consistently, eh? Anyways, yeah. I think I'll shift my focus to making the roots now. And what's the refine tool? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one...

That's impossible. You should have used it at least once when you where doing the pawn tutorial. C'mon, it's that tool that adds additional vertexes (this the name?) on a line.

I probably did use it, but I did that tut like, 5 months ago (i think...) and anyways, I did that tut with Max. Right now, I'm using Blender, and I've never had occasion that I needed to figure out where it is in Blender, or even if Blender has that tool.

Anyways, here's some quick work on the roots. It's hard to tell what they'll look like textured. Anyways, what do ya'll think?:

It must be very low-poly, even for Morrowind. Smooth it up fearlessly.

I wouldn't agree with You this time El Scumbago. If I were you Neenja, I would now texture it, and put into the game. It's hard to say if it is low poly, it's well made, so it can be just enough IMHO.
PoHa: how can we best this trio of trouble? who will save us from this menace of sub-par models? what will we do?
PoHa: I know! we'll shoot an Aro at them
Aro: you have only one Aro missile!
PoHa: yes, but its heat seeking and quite possibly indestructible

He could just hit the '7' key on his keyboard and see how many polies it is.

This plant might make a good Quaestro Vil, as both plants seem to have a similar general shape. (Hard to see with Daggerfall graphics).
