Dammit- my internet keeps messing up so this is the third time I have typed this (each new time my language becomes less elegant as I get more frustrated).

The Previous post has been updated with a new Rock Formation.

Concerning the earlier concept I have seen such gravity resistant lava Rocks in Hawaii- Minus the Blue Coloration. I could provide an explanation but as I already typed it twice I don't feel like it.

The trees were originally going to be upside down but
that looked pretty goofy so now they are hour glass
inspired. The foliage in the trees both top and bottom
are a mix of blue's purple's and raspberry colors.
The mosses on the rocks are either blue green or dark
raspberry.. or both. lol. Trunks are a dark umber shade.
The water is water with a slight oily sheen to it.
Grass/weeds are dead looking and either dark or light
brownish purple.

Love it Lighter! I want one of those cute creatures as a pet, or as a stuffed toy ( that I say is for my daughter but secretly think is mine )

@lighter: The drawings look great. Just keep in mind that Quagmire is a nightmarish realm. If i could describe the feel we're going for it would be tension, unease, and helplessness. You're depiction looks quite pleasant by comparison. The hourglass shape is excellent for the trees, though they could be made 'darker' with less foliage. A nightmare realm is probably best served by a muted palette, but I'm eager to see how you work with the blue's, purples, reds, and greens. colors.

Oh don't worry I know lol The colored version will make all the difference.

The mouth on the dog thing is freaky enough.

Something I'd like to see is a concept for a Quagmirish sigil stone. Dagon's balls are just big round things. Simple and straightforward. For Vaernima's orbs, I'd like to see something that'd take the vertical eye motif used on pieces such as these:

So, a cauldron and maybe other things that would look nice and witchy. Crooked wooden sticks holding candles and skulls or other weird stuff (remember the [url=http://www.needlenose.com/i/swopa/BlairWitchProject.jpg]Blair Witch Project[/url] or those [url=http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/7582/housedagothcj2.png]House Dagoth things[/url] from Morrowind?). Spooky little statuettes. Maybe even bowls and ladles to go along with the cauldron. Stuff that gives its character to the place, stuff that screams "something wicked this was comes!"

Since Quagmire's atmosphere would be a swampy/marsh area, I thought it would be appropriate to have a Gifter that used a angler style of catching prey.

Reminds me of Alien actually; strange, what comes out from its mouth seems a sort of gun. It could be cool if implemented, changed in some aspects and detailed.

It's nothing like a gun. Sorry if you misinterpreted it. As I said, this Gifter uses an angler style of catching prey. What this means is that it lures its prey (daedra or dumbass) using the light emitting from its tongue. It slowly retracts its tongue, bringing its prey closer. When it's close enough...you get the idea.

Gifter is a specific kind of daedra, like Dremora or Ogrim. That would be another kind of daedra.

Whoops, sorry then. I'll just call it an Angler until I think of something better.

It'd be neat to have a room with nothing but a lake or something of the sort, and a GIGANTIC fish just like that. I'm talking, player being roughly the size of one of its teeth gigantic.

...actually, if to actually get eaten by something --- and have to find your way to the next area of the realm in its stomach...THAT could be pretty damn nightmarish as well. Scary noises, a dank, dark - moving atmoshphere. You guys know those evil as hell Ichthyosaurs in Half-Life? If anyone knows how scary it was for those things coming after you, I think it could be really cool.
