Here's a list of the new drinks we have so far(most of them courtesy of Hermit :))

1. Ancient Velothi Brandy
If house Dagoth can have 100-year-old booze, why shouldn't the people of Veloth too? Surely, the Aldmer who followed him *had* to be drunk, after all. Thus, I propose the "Ancient Veloth Brandy", to be found only in one of Greybeard's dres-bug inrested caves, right at the end, in a forgotten steel keg where the dwemer that once robbed it buried and forgot it. Value: priceless (7500, at the very least). Plus, it should come in a daedric-style flask, after all the Velothi were the ones that built the daedric ruins.

2. Cluj (Marsh Marrow liquor)
One bottle of Cluj is supposed to kill a grown guar, at least that's what the locals of the Velothi Mountains, where this hideous liquor is brewed, will tell you. Historians trace the roots of this high-percentage toxic beverage back to the hardy Nords of the first age, who have left their traces even in local Dunmer culture (although no Dunmer will ever admit this). A somewhat strange custom seems to prove this: A stranger can acquire some repect with the locals if he can stomach a whole glass of Cluj in one draw, then kiss a guar, and still stand an hour after this. A similar custom revolves around the nord "Screj", a beverage that is widely popular with nordic soldiers and fishermen along the frozen northern coast of Skyrim.

3. Varna (mushroom/whickwheat beer)
This sweeter variation of Matze is saturated with the juice of Marshmarrow, a sugarcane-like weed that grows across Morrowind. Since the Marshmarrow is not only very sweet, but also saturated with all kinds of minerals from the ashy soil it lives upon, Varna is more than a bit dangerous to the health. Its low price and wide availability still make it the drug of choice for the poor, however.

4. Sibiu (Marshmarrow/saltrice beer)
Sibiu is basically Matze saturated with Violet Coprinus. Despite the mushroom's known toxic volume, it is widely popular among paupers of the mainland, who like to kick back after a hard day of barely making a living off the low-end jobs they can acquire, since it offers pleasant illusions and a generally cozy feeling.

5. Timisoara (marshmarrow/comberry wine)
A sweet, heavy, moderately intoxicating beverage, Timisoara is popular in most of the Indoril and Hlaalu districts. Enterprising Hlaalu merchants have established it as a popular beverage for the youth of Cyrodiil's upper crust, which is something Indoril dislikes, mostly though because Hlaalu doesn't offer them a single septim for what they consider part of *their* heritage.

6. Siret (Salt Rice liquor)
A liquor of the Deshaan plains, this beverage is popular among all lower-class Dres, slaves, and even some higher-ups, though consuming it is frowned upon by Dres Aristocracy and local higher-ups.

7. Ruse (Salt Rice liquor tipped with Moon Sugar)
Made from salt rice and produced in large quantities, this stronger variant of Siret was originally invented by Khajiit slaves, who drank it in large quantities for the purpose of forgetting about the misery they lived in. The moonsugar, which gives this beverage it's distinctive taste and extra strong effect, is added during distillation. Before, the liquor is nothing but ordinary Siret. Producing it, let alone selling it, is highly illegal. Still, Ruse is found in most well-off Dres households, as it offers many of the pleasant effects of Skooma without the most disastrous side effects, such as Corpus infection.

8. Doneq (sweet salt rice wine)
Doneq is made of a variant of salt rice. The glutinous salt rice, which is sticky when cooked, in used to make a variety of cookies, cakes, and dumplings in southern Morrowind. Easily picked out by its dark brown colour and sweet taste, Doneq is popular through all classes and can be found in any decent pub in Dres, Indoril, and southern Hlaalu territory.

9. Khomel (dry salt rice wine)
Khomel is made from normal salt rice, much in the same way Doneq is. It has a dryer, slightly bitter taste, and is usually served as beverage to traditional Dres dishes, such as Strider Stew, Omlette Nerevar, and pickled Slaughterfish eggs. Outside of Dres territory, it is fairly uncommon to see, and some Hlaalu and even Indoril describe the people of Dres "as bitter as Khomel".

10. Azuras Tears (Black rose flower tea)
Made from dried Black Rosebuds, dried Marshmarrow, and often saturated with a pinch of moonsugar, this tea is a moderately powerful love potion(It lowers willpower, and raises personality)and generally very popular with Azura cultists and temple followers alike. It can be found throughout Morrowind, and is exported as far as Cyrodiil, as certain Dibella cults enjoy its effects, too.

11. Grozza
A ix between moonsugar, tad bit of scuttle, and cyrodillic brandy. It's attributes are: Fortify Endurance 20 Pts.;Fortify Intelligence 30 Pts.; Drain Strength 10 Pts.; Drain Agility 20 Pts. It's origin: The native Indoril were tired of the same old run-of-the-mill brandy, so a few of them decided to mix up a bit of their own brand of alcohol. They took some scuttle and moonsugar and ground it to a thin powder in a mortar and pestle. They then added the powder to a bottle of cyrodillic brandy. Almost immediately it changed colors to a thin greenish liquid that smelled strongly of fragrant roses. They drank and became Hardy and Wise, but Weak and Slow as well. The maidens of the enterprising young elves preferred to use it as a perfume, and sprayed it out into the air of their gardens, making Grozza one of the most sought-after drinks of Morrowind.

12. Red Wine
A mix of water and redberries, Red Wine was originated by the Nords who wanted something a bit less sweet than their native Mead, so they crushed some redberries that grey locally into a fine juice and mixed it with water, and let it age for a day. The resulting process resulted in a fine tasting wine that quickly became popular with the surrounding nord populations. Seven of the Nord Holds immediately accepted this tasty drink into their midst, and the only two followed soon after.

13. Prato (cyrodili corn/aloe sap liquor)
Prato is a strong tasting liquor originally invented by the farmers of the fertile Colovian plains. Brewed by the early legions of Colovia, who were the first generation of imperial soldiers sent to recently conquered parts of the Empire, Prato eventually spread all over the continent of Tamriel.
Few drinks are so associated with the Legion and the Empire throughout its provinces as Prato. It is known as Legionnaire's Fire in Daggerfall, Emperor's Fury in High Rock, and Fire of the South in Skyrim. It hasn't gained significant popularity with the xenophobic Dunmer yet, but is quite popular with recruits and traders from other provinces, thus mostly found in foreign colonies, legion forts, and imperial-dominated cities. As the name implies, Prato is very strong, but the Aloe also gives it significant medical capabilities, and legion healers have long used it to help care for the sick and wounded after battles, and to help heal blistered feet and legs after long marches.

14. Dagoth's Tears
This highly addictive drink was once the major drug in Morrowind, until it was replaced by the even more potent Skooma. Now, it's only popular with the most xenophobic, anti-empire Dunmer; mainly the denizens of the Telvanni islands and the rural Dres population, who are too impoverished to afford imported Skooma. Also, it is rumored that the consumation of this drug is an essential part of the mysterious Sixth House cult.
Dagoth's tears gains it's potency only from two ingredients, (both rather hard to prepare) which must be mixed into clear, cold water (a commodity that once was quite rare in Morrowind). It cannot be stored endlessly and must be consumed soon, as its components lose their impact about a month after they are prepared.
One component is made from the juice of specially fermented Comberries, saturated with the sap of Bungler's Bane. The other is made from Ash Salts, stirred into Corpus Weepings and saturated with sweet Marshmarrow juice. Only if mixed in cold, clear water can they be consumed.
An interesting side effect of the two components is that the liquid glows mildly in an eerie red light.

15. Stinn
A drink popular with young people across the empire, Stinn actually is a brew that originated in High Rock. It is made from crushed Aloe leaves, the juice of Kutassi berries, and the sap of the Sapori tree, whcih is mixed, fermented, and tipped with salt before drinking. It's sweet, yet sour taste is appealing, and is a slight aphrodisiac. Also, its calming effects make it as popular as its affordability. Stinn is widely sold all across Tamriel, and is one of the major sources of income for High Rock. Stinn trade is controlled by two warring clans, Almunir and Akbahr, who also are heavily involved in the local Thieves guild.

16. Jagga
"Fermented pig's milk. Evidently this drink fortifies speechcraft and willpower, yet significantly drains fatigue.

17. Rotmeth
Rancid, strongly fermented meat juices with lots of spices to kill the poisons
Quote from DoF:3 :
It was gamy, bitter and sugary, yet very salty. At first it seemed very disagreeable to his palate, but a moment later he found he had drained the mug and was pouring another. His body tingled. All the sounds in the chamber seemed oddly disjointed, but not frighteningly so. Scotti felt a surge of rage, which quickly subsided. He chuckled, and poured himself a seventh mug. Scotti burst into laughter, shaking his head. The diplomats bade him their respects and went to talk to the Minister. Scotti stumbled out of the palace, and reeled through the strange, organic avenues and boulevards of the city.
This drink fortifies personality, and alteration. It drains fatigue.

There. The list is at 17 now. Hermit, if you have any more, PM them to me and I'll add them to the list. All I did was compile a single list, add a few, and fix numerous spelling and grammatical errors.

eh, the hardest part is the texture, and it really depends on how the mesh is made, so without the ability to properly work the texturing with the meshing, then its not really a time saver.

I didn't see any native Indoril refreshment (well, cluj might do)? And what plant(s) would they use? I'm thinking in the nature of the low hills and plains areas. I could also use a special Indoril style container or two. - Er, please? - Grey

I like them, however they are too 'colourful' compared to other ingame objects. Also, have you tested if they show up that way in-game? Many of the Blinn maps and some of the TES Shader maps do not work in the engine proper.

I only used blin for the glass transparency since it seems to work best for that and metal stuff. I saved the mesh as a master 3DS file and have each of the unwrap textures I used as well, so I can dull the saturation a bit (and maybe run a sharpen filter) and see how they look. To answer your question though, they do look about the same as above in game.

OK, here’s a quick remake of the textures. In the zip file this time is the 3DS base mesh, plus both the bright and dull textures, if anyone wants to do some more work with it. I agree though, the toned-down versions look much better.

I agree with Vernon, and I really don't like that straight line of the edge of the color. Blur it or something maybe?

The Imperials certainly have clear glass (you ever looked at the windows in Morrowind or Oblivion screenshots?) and these look Cyrodilic or Breton, not Dunmer. Therefore they could be imported Bretonic or Cyrodilic drinks.

IMO these would look nice but you have to somehow remove that light effect. While it looks nice when these flasks stand alone in game which has its own lighting it would make mess. Look at other meshes, there is no lightning on them (or at least not that visible).

If you read through the list of drinks all of them are Morrowind local drinks with local ingredients. Many also seem to be old, thus pure clear glass is not really appropriate.

Stinn, Jagga, Prato, and Red Wine are the only drinks that are not native to Morrowind. They'd all need different containers than that anyway, especially the Red Wine.
