Retiring from core and leaving Tamriel Rebuilt

Yes, this time it is final and not just a short burst of agression. You probably all noticed that I haven't been active over the last couple of weeks. The main reason behind this is the new university year which is taking up most of my time. Another reason is that my HD recently crashed and all my Tamriel Rebuilt files were lost. Altogether I have lost joy in modding and prefer to spend the little free time that I have on other things than modding for the project. I might pick up on modding for the project in the near or distant future, but I feel I can no longer be an administrator because of all the duties tied to that position.

I surely had fun modding for this project. From the start I've been interior modding, later I picked on reviewing and heading the review department and finally I attempted to be an administrator of this behemoth of a project. All you guys have formed the finest group I've ever worked with on the internet and the dedication to the project and modding quality many of you have shown is mindstaggering. I surely believe this is the most ambitious mod for any game ever and the amount of quantity and quality shown so far surpasses any third party game modification I have ever seen.

I feel bad for leaving you while the project is in such a rocky time, with the recent shift in the core and the coming Oblivion causing a stir in the entire Morrowind modding community, but staying would only end up in me being a dead weight slowing down the progress of this project.

I really hope you'll be able to finish Morrowind province and perhaps even more, so all work from me and all modders before and after me has not been in vain. Yes, I have modded for the fun of it, as have many others, but I still would like to see a final result.

Following in my footsteps, the next admin will be Vernon. I have great faith in his abilities and think he will do a great job. He's already proven his skills in a great variety of fields, from texturing to exterior creation, and I'm sure he'll do at least as well as I did.

Finally, I'd like to thank a few people with whom I've had something special here at the project.
First of all zephyr. I have great respect for you and surely enjoyed talking to you on all those occassions.
Starcrunch, you're a great modder and a good guy. Good luck heading the review department.
Majra, though you've already left as well, I've had a great time working with you on Dun Akafell and always had great respect for you.
And all current core members: Stalker, Dexter, Lady Nerevar, hermit, Vernon, kingfish, Theo and Morden. You're all great modders and great people.
Finally all other members at the project. I encourage you to stick around this project for as long as possible and to have fun while you're at it. It's the greatest modding project out there and you'll never find such a concentration of talented, dedicated modders anywhere else.

I'll be dropping in from time to time to see how you guys are doing. I wish you all well. Good luck, and farewell.
