Vernon's Anniversary!!!
In some places, it is already the 29th of September, and in Sydney it is the 29th already which is where it matters. I have noticed that one year ago to the day, Vernon first joined TR. Now, Vernon has been very very good to me ever since I first joined even though I was a complete n00b, and without him I most certainly would not have gotten as far as I have on TR. So I;d like to thatnk him for all the help he's ever given me and wish him a happy anniversary today and here is a little something I put together for ya Vern! In order to understand it you must know two things, Vernon's Avvie, and Poha's diversion. enjoy it Vern, and happy ani!

You're nuts Massey :p
Odd though, I didn't realise Vernon had only been with TR for a year, I could have sworn it'd been longer than that!
Welp, happy happy Vernon :p

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. That animation is great! It made me ROFL and LOL. I ROFLd! And I LOLd! Leet/AOL-speak aside, it's been a funny old year and it has obviously had its ups and downs. There were times when I just wanted to leave outright, but I would have hated to just lose touch with this crazy old project. Blah blah blah. I guess I should list some shit that stood out in this first year.
Probably my favourite thing was learning how to model and working on that shipyard set, along with my attempts to help others learn to make models. I think the first thing I did here was to mesh that Old Ebonheart bell tower.
The thing I participated in that I felt was of the most benefit to TR was the OoT changes. A real team effort that I hope will help TR for some time into the future.
The down point was all of the core upheaval. It got quite depressing at times, but I think when it comes down to it, it is a necessary evil.
Surprise of the year was Sload joining the project and kicking up a mad fuss over everything from cave worms to antisocial admins.
Thread of the year was undoubtedly Dexter's 'I'm concerned' thread. Things changed the day that thread was made, and from where I was standing, it was a change for the better. "look at my awesome sauce"
Being given the responsibility of GM then Administrator was a buzz. I intend to do my best for as long as I can and that is as much as I can offer. Direct all complaints to the crazy centurion. He really does have a trout surplus. The mass slapping I've received hasn't even dented it.
The best thing though, is that bright, dedicated people have popped up throughout the year and they carry TR more than the core could ever do alone.
Anyway, I'll stop my blabbing. Here is some advice for you all. Remember this over the next year and everything will fall into place:

ps I can't make a post like that without dropping the 'F-bomb.' So fuck.
