Got art that's not related to the province of Morrowind? Post and discuss it here! This includes concepts for other provinces, like Skyrim or Hammerfell, and also artwork not related to the Elder Scrolls at all.
If you do have art related to Morrowind, go check out our Concept Art Guidelines and FAQ to see where to post it.

So, any kind of scenery view pic must be posted here and only here, in order to keep the other concept threads clean of such images and allow them to be absolutely dedicated to functional concept only?

Please post all future non-Hammerfell concept art in this thread
As long as its related to Hammerfell you can post it anywhere in the concept art forum, be it any form of concept art. This thread however, is for any concept art not related to Hammerfell.

I've got into another way to draw things, and the result is a much more detailed drawing. I love it
Here is the first example, which isn't really related to the province of Hammerfell, so I decided to put it up here.
Good Quality, Big file:

Bad Quality, Small file:

You'd better take the good quality pic, because the bad quality pic is, well, bad.
Enjoy

Very nice sword! It does look kinda evil, so I'd suggest making it a weapon used by perhaps Goblins or Smugglers/Pirates/Bandits, possibly in Hammerfell, rather than it being Elven, since in Oblivion elves seem to adapt a very ornate style with natural shapes and patterns based on plants and animals, like in this picture... http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/art/ob_concept/ob_concept05B.jpg
Of course which type of elves this is is untold, and whether this is wood or high elven style.

The detail on that sword is excellent. I like the new style.
However.. i think that sword would break in half the first time somebody blocked your swing. Guess you'll have to be sneaky.

Yeah,
Thats why I said it about elven style, because they would have some kind of superior steel that wouldn't break, (first thought of dwarves, but since they have been kicked outta tamriel, that would be impossible) (and they have another style) (lol).

True, maybe some sort of Damascus steel blade? Folded in super-heated layers? Could work, I don't know if Tamriel has folded steel or not though.

Yeah, well, there's alot of weird weapons like the umbra blade and all of those artifacts in Morrowind that had an impossible shape as well... Oh, and the blade could be enchanted so it wouldn't break. Echantment: Anti-Break Power.

i thought id just post the idea of a weapon for unarmed types like monks though the quality may not be good
edit: here are some dwermer washers i've always wondered why i never saw any, metal needs knees too you know.

Hey everyone. I just realised this pic was on the wrong thread, and that it belonged here. It's my rendition of my Morrowind Khajit character, Rashi Swiftclaw. I hope you guys like him,

I like the way the sword looks. But wouldn't a High elf have a royal looking sword? that sword is cool looking, but it looks like more of an argonian blade. A high elf sword would be perfect with no chinks in the blade. your art is good but before you name somthing look at the style before you name.

Thats just what popped up in my mind when drawing it. You can do what you want with my art, the descriptions mean nothing.

Selkath!! Oh, sorry, wrong universe.
Nice work, Rowan, I like it. You too, Vholdrian. I like the sword. At first glance of the thumbnail it reminds me almost of a Daedric knife blade. That would explain how it resists breakage, as well. The hilt doesn't fit with anything I remember seeing of Daedric design, though. Of course, I'm farther from the resident source of TES lore than pluto is from the sun, but eh, every bit helps.

Here's something for Argonia. A tree house in order to keep safe from the dangers of the mangroves. I couldn't fit the entire roof because I misjudged the size of my paper.

A zombie of necromantic traditions familiar to High Rock

The leather bindings are placed on before the ritual of raising, and after the seaming/threading of any weak tissue on the body. The gorget (a more modern occurance these days) is clamped tightly around the neck, as to avoid such inconveniances of resurrecting and picking up the pieces again. Aptly put, this is a modern wester-zombie prepared right.

This hulking predator of Skyrim, The
Breonir(
bron-eer) averages 5ft at the shoulder, and has been scaled up to 2000 pounds.

The tendrils emerging from the face are ten smell-sensitive receptors, in place of nostrils, and are quick to reveal massive jaws. These adapted tendrils are undoubtably a mystery as to how they evolved, but scholars suggest, when in hunt, the breonir uses these to brush and smell plants and trees. It has also been noted the tendrils splay into the air or salivate to attract smell, when hungry.
The beast itself is very similar in size and omnivorous patterns of a bear, but shares more evolutionary traits to that of a sloth, or anteater. This breonir dwarves the typical grizzly, and have been legended to hunt men.

Wow, the breonir looks great, Lute. I can imagine it being one of those beasts that really scare you the first time you bump in to them...

Well, here is a concept of a Marsh Demon. Marsh demons equip weapons to one hand and has claws at the other one. They look a little creepy. If Black Marsh is ever going to be made on Oblivion engine by the TR team then I'd say that we should make this creature as a new race similiar to the Dremora race by Beth.

First off, AWESOME pics Lutemuth (i quess you know that)
Second, Vholdrian, i think your swords blade is very cool, no doubt about that, but i think your sword would look better of you shortened the fingerguard a bit (maybe all removed it?). I think it looks a bit odd with so them being 'so long' in comparison to the blade's length.

Odd shadows might be it, or maybe it's their diet. I'm not nutritionist, but maybe they're lacking... uhm.. Protien.. and .. Vitamin E? Yes, it could be a "dark circles under my eyes" sorta thing, but it's cooler if they draw it themselves.
