Interior Fixer

Post by Lady Nerevar »

That's right, I need some willing and able modders to help me fix interiors. The rules are simple; you will get a rar of interior from map 3 (how many depends on how many people sign up) along with their reviews. You are to fix the interiors based on the reviews and on anything that you might notice. I need the fixes ASAP, by the end of the month absolute max. I know that this is boring work, but its all worth it when you see a sexy finished map with interiors.

I just want to add here that we need as many people to participate as possible! We currently have about 170 interiors in reviewing, which is a huge amount. There are simply not enough people to fix the interiors, because reviewing has taken so long that some of the people have dropped out of TR. So we cannot just send them back and fixing everything by ourselves just takes far too long.

There are a total of 70 interiors to be assigned for you in this batch. The more of you participate, the less each one will have to work.

Not true zeph, there are a total of 70 interiors in map 3 that are ready for fixing. assigned in this batch will be only those who’s modders are gone or not willing to fix them themselves.

Couldn't the reviewers have handled this? I'd love to help, but I am lacking time.

I'm onboard (I already have the Reviewer test in my inbox) but will begin right after this week is over. Exams aren't really kind to modders.

Lady N: While in map 1, I came across some screwy interiors.
Map 1 ints are to be fixed also, right?

Right. That's not explaining much though, could you be a little more precise as to what you mean?

I could if there was really a plan. Stalker's fixing Map 1 in general and I'm fixing Bal Oyra because he didn't want to fix it. That's about it.

Map 1 errors are fixed by Stalker and Sload (only in Bal Oyra). Go to the Group Map Error Reporting forum to post the errors so they can be fixed up :)

I know I'm a reviewer, but I'm willing to do some fixing :)

BTW: Shouldn't this be a sign-up as opposed to a sing-up :] I'm a spelling nazi :D

as long as I recieve a list of errors I should be able to correct them. I feel the need to fix errors, instead of just reporting them, so please give me the forms so I can sign up.

I haven't got Bloodmoon so as long as the ints i get don't rely on any BM stuff i'll be ok...my last exam is on monday so after that i can devote a lot of time to fixing...is the lack of BM acceptable?

There's actually a sneaky way around this. What you do is that you create a new empty esm called Bloodmoon.esm and use this as one of the selected esms. You will receve an error message about the wrong versions of the master files being used, but you will be fine if you're working on files that don't actually use any Bloodmoon items. Alternatively, you could use TESDTK to remove the dependency on Bloodmoon from the files before you work on them. (DTK can be found on the main page, under utilities)

I only request that you kill my assignments list for the time being. I'll upload all my reviews outstanding on my list then I can get fixin. It's been a while since I've done any hands-on work for TR.

Lady N: I have a problem. You didn't give me a README for 3-179. I'd check it out by myself but I'm awfully short on time right now, so if you have the reviewer's report, plz send it my way.

There has been no reviews of i3-179-Ind as of the version you have to fix, sorry. There has been one review of a previous version, but the errors it contained have presumably been fixed in the version you have.

Here are mine, anything that is not alright yet just mail me or PM me. i fixed all things in the readmes.

One thing though, to people that do reviews, you need to know the diference between a "bad" bleed and a "good" bleed. Because some objects need to bleed a litle to look in place and not floating. I'm sorry i mentioning this but my review readmes had a lot of bleeds that need to be there and were pointed as errors.

Here's all my job, cleaned, fixed and with more detail wherever I could add some.
However, I haven't changed the cell names as suggested in the readmes.
WARNING: 3-179 could not be loaded in CS due to absolute dependancy on TR_OoT_old.
The only way I see to fix this is to make the interior all over again. If its maker isn't around, I claim it. Notify me about this.
