Karpik777's showcase

Post by karpik777 »

I'd like to join the project and help as much as I can. The only things which I could do though are interiors and NPCs. The interiors I'd like to show were made some time ago for a different mod. The file doesn't have the proper naming, since I'll be getting my Morrowind PC from repairs in a few days.

The files adds a few interiors made originally for the Trenora mod, so their names start with trenora.

First off, let me say welcome. I am sorry no one has been able to get to your showcase, but I just found it. I looked at it and here are some ideas I had.

Everything, all the cells, look too clean. The Strider Port looks like it would have a thuggish quality to it, but it's perfect. In some of the cells, namely House 1, Shack 1, and Strider Port, it is very dry. There isn't enough detailing. These places should look as though people have been living in them for at least a couple of weeks if not years. There is no junk, no litter. In the Enchanter's House, the wallhanging covering the urns is negative space. I doubt the owner would waste space like that. Mind you, you could create a closet in which the urns are kept. The lighting in the upper floor is wonderful. The MH exterior lamp used as a traveller's lamp doesn't fit in. The problem is, if you remove it, it kills the lighting effect. But if you either found a suitable replacement light or created one with the specifications of the exterior light, it would be restored. In the apothecary, I think some apparatuses would be nice. He or she would be an alchemist. It is obvious you have patience for this kind of project. I can see the Enchanter's house being in the real game. At least now, other members and modders will look themselves. These are of course my opinions. I hope they help. :)

see I keep thinking that alot of people are just abandoning the project because they are discouraged by the fact that noone replies or looks at their plugins. So when I get a chance, Im checking to make sure that all the showcases have been replied to.

Thanks for the kind words Hemitheon. I should have posted earlier, but since my family and school situation has changed, I'm unable to devote any time to modding in the coming months. I wish you all good luck with the project (and the beta release of map 1 is a good sign). Someone please lock this thread, thank you.
