Graff is too busy in real life to do his duties here, so we need a new guy. Discuss here who you would like it to be. I'd like us all to come to a conclusion by Wednesday.

I'd say Macar, I'd also say most others would say Macar, but he's manning a ship at the moment. Or was, last time I knew. :S

I'm with Nanu and most others. But who is interested in music/sound and free at the moment? Or nca the position stay free till Septmeber? I doubt it beuase the release of Stirk will need VO a while after the non voice version is released, if it's being released as far as I have been told.

I suppose I'd offer myself as a last resort.

I do have experiance moderating on 3 different forums.

Although on the technical side of music composition such as how to use Cubase, or converting midi to orchestra, I have next to zilch knowledge.

I have plenty of experiance with Audacity, since I use that to voice act, and could probabaly critique voice actors, sound effects and music fairly well.

...but, yeah, I'd prefer Macar too to be honest :D

My vote goes to Macar, but I'd suggest you guys find a second-in-command who knows how to edit sound files, otherwise I'll have to drag myself back to make sure the dialogue sound files are all sorted.

I can work on music using Sibelius and cubase, (didn't get an A* for nothing in music) but apart from creating music thats it.

anyway i definitly agree that Macar should become the sound and music mod. He has put a lot of work in that others will agree is good so he gets my vote :)

Isn't Macar rather away? He hasn't even had time to record his own dialogue. Or will he be more active when the summer's over? Even if it's the latter, we were hoping for the Stirk beta by September 1st, so that stuff needs to be done in the next two weeks. I don't really know if Macar can do that. If you can, Macar, please say so.

My last day of work is the 18th- after that I will be in Savanah for a day and then I'll be home again with plenty of time to work on TR.

As for my ability to get the job done: I dont have oblivion, but I can crack the whip and I can do a little editing as well. If people can work with me- I'd be happy to try.

I'm sorry I didnt see this and comment earlier. I'm looking forward to having full internet access in a week or so!

PS> yes I'm still on the ship.

It was posted 6 hours ago, mate, you aren't at all late.

If you'll be home in time to make sure this stuff gets done by the end of the month, you've got my vote. Maybe someone with Oblivion should be co-mod, though, for the whole other part. I know Orix has it.

I'm perfectly capable of the "sound" part of sound and music moderating, I know my way around goldwave pretty darn well and probably could learn other programs too if neccesary. my MIDI skills are nonexistent, though - my vote goes to either macar or nanu ra for the post.

Macar when he returns, Orix for the present, or as a backup mod.

BTW. I'll be shipping my computer home today (so it will be there when I get back. I'll still have library and work computers to post with- but you wont see any more actual work from me for a few days. I'll be at home by the 21st.

I'd say in light of the goal date- It would probably be best to appoint someone else. If you do- my vote goes to Orix. He's been very active in the department for a long time now.

Macar wins.
I'm going to put Orix on as a helper-monkey, sort of a sound and music reviewer. He's in charge until Macar is back at home.

Aye, thanks Dex. You too Macar, I'll do my best to get the ball rolling until you return... and then hopefully help you keep it rolling, heh.
