What exactly is Tamriel Rebuilt? Sorry, but I'm knew, and I'm not quite sure what it's all about.

I checked out the FAQ and I'm still not really clear on one thing. Are you guys making this mod for Morrowind, or for Oblivion? The FAQ seems to hint that it's TES3, but then it mentions rebuilding Morrowind's landmass and most of the screens are from Oblivion. Can you guys clear this up?

If you read the FAQ you'd notice these headings:

What is going on with Oblivion?

and

What is going on with Morrowind?

Revisit them for detailed info on what we're up to currently. Short story? We are modding both.

I'm not sure what's so hard about figuring out this project and what we're doing. But don't worry i've made a proposal to post everything in super huge font smack in the middle of the main page. If anyone misses that, then god help them.

PS. Most of the screenshots are from Morrowind because we've been modding it the longest. There is only one section on Oblivion.

Are new members still getting the welcoming PM? They used to get one with a bunch of information. If they are we should probably change it because I bet its really outdated and confusing.

i dont think that it was astablished a year back

(i think i rember voting on it later then that).

i would suspect that they are no longer recieving the PM after the server move and stuff that code could have been lost.

I got a welcome PM, but it was just like "welcome to TR, have a nice day, now go do something meaningful...", so it really didn't answer any questions.

I sympathise entirely, I'm still trying to get my head around what it's all about!

I recall getting my first pm from Nairb, who explained a bunch of stuff and asked me if I'd like to do some interior work. I answered something like "I don't know shit about the CS, I'm here for the CA part, but I'm cool with learning". Too much of a n00b answer, he never answered back!

But a nice main page explanation works better than 100 pm's in a month, I think.
