Title says it all. I am currently working on a MOD which I might want to release, it expands the stock-game cities of Tel Aruhn and Tel Uvirith and adds a load of quests for fast Eddie and yourself. The problem is, I'm using some TR meshes, like the dice, and I'm wondering whether I have permission to release my MOD despite this.

Naturally I am willing to rename the meshes so that it won't make any conflicts with TR and I will obviously mention where I got the meshes in the readme, but I can easily imagine that TR wouldn't want other MODs using their meshes, at least not until TR gets released.

Note: I am not going to use anything other than meshes and their respective textures and icons which may fit my needs.

The best thing to do is find the mesher, and ask him personally.

Ok, how do I find the mesher? And if the textures and icons were made by someone else, would I have to ask him too? (Sorry if that sounds like sneering or sarcasm, I really don't know.)

Optimally yes. But I would start with the mesher. After that point, contact an admin.

Usually meshes had an ID tag in the file name, but that was only sometimes used. We haven't had too many meshers, so finding them by asking around or searching for the ID tag shouldn't be too difficult.

Thanks. I can't believe I didn't think of searching. It always happens to everyone, so you'd think I'd learn... Anyway, I'll compile a list of the meshes I used and start the hunt. :D Thanks for the help.

I hate to bump, but I could not find some things on the search. Now maybe I made a mistake, and I don't think I've quite mastered the use of search, but either way I'll post the list. I am not asking anyone to search for me or anything. Just look through the things that have no listed modder and if you either made it yourself or know who made it, please tell me.
