The poor man's MMORPG, by all accounts. Monotonous landscape, selfish users, remedial goals, and a terrible escuse for graphics

It was kind of fun when I first played it, for a free game. But it is just a leveling treadmill. So I got bored (well, tired really) of it.

I was obsessed with it. Until I realised it was a complete waste of my life.

I've never heard of it. But then again MMORPGs don't interest me in the slightest. But it's nice to know people like it, eh? :]

Ur r rite sload, RS FTW!... lol.

I was addicted to it when I was twelve. (Four years ago now...) I mean, I spent every waking moment playing it. Then I discovered ESF (See the slow progression?) and started with the APEX mod, then found TR. That basically broke me of the Runescape habit. That and my account being lost. I'll be fair, it was a good way for a young kid to have fun. After a certain point, it's time to move to bigger and better things. One of those phases. That was around the time that my friends and I started making willow bows and reenacting battles from the Iliad... I still have the urge to do that now and then.

Yeah, runescape's okay. I hate the way you have to click to move. And the graphics suck. But I must say, I do like the wealth of skills available in it.

I don't care about graphics of a game, it's the gameplay which counts.

Like I said, I've never played it, but looking at the graphics in wikipedia the name "Run! Escape!" seems appropriate.

I got sick of it. The quests got very boring.

Runescape is to games what angels & airwaves is to music.

The chat censor was always good for that over the top annoyance that you just can't take.

Sucks when there are dozens of ingame items that you can't talk about because they get censored.

I remember when they first added it, and every bad or partly bad word was censored to "melon" (or something).

Hey, at least it wasn't as bad as Habbo Hotel.
'You Fucking peice of Shit!' was transferred into
'You bobbaing peice of bobba!'
xD. That was always very funny.[/u]
