Will TR start any other provinces?

Post by red_dragon2006 »

I was wondering if TR will start building other provinces, like Black Marsh, or Skyrim.

hehe. i can see hammerfell being finished in the not to distant future as there's (currentally) lots of interest in Oblivion. the Morrowind one however, maybe not. best bet would be to talk to teh 'core' members. ie. Haplo or Sload

Morrowind is a very very very old game. It's good, but old. Oblivion is good and new so more people are intrested in Oblivion (wich is better than Morrowind by my means).

Morrowind will be finished in due time. There are only six maps, and several of them already have a lot of content that is alright. One is already a beta launch. As long as there are people working on TR, there will be people interested in finishing Morrowind.

Beyond Cyrodiil is probably working on those provinces, so there's nothing left for us when we finish Hammerfell ;)

Morrowind is a very very very old game.
Dude, it's only 4-5 years. Compared to Star Craft which is almost 9 years old and it's still popular I'd say Morrowind will live enough time until we finish. I personally don't care if this means 20 years, it's fun and you learn a lot of stuff. We are not professional game designers. It's just a way to start being one. ;) Blah, blah, blah I sound like drunken, don't I? :P

There's always the option of finishing Hammerfell then turning to one of the other continents or island chains such as Thras or Pyandonea. I think it'd be cool to add the Thrassian Atoll into the game. Mind you this is only future talk and pointless, but I haven't seen or heard of any groups trying to flesh out the realms of Oblivion. I wanna visit Moonshadow.

The idea behind TR is that once we finish one province, we move on to another. Being how TR tends to perpetuate itself, we could keep going and keep banging out content as long as, and well after, Bethesda continues to make Elder Scrolls games.
And yes, Beyond Cyrodiil was making all the other provinces, but some of those have gone under. Also, a benefit of being hobby project is that we can mod whatever we want, regardless of how many other people are doing the same thing.

Gah! It tries to install a program!
