WSG#27 [F]: Yoku dieties and designs (2nd installment)

Post by Lutemoth »

Welcome! After a stilted intermission, the WSG is back again! I'll keep this short and sweet for you'se folks :)

Satakalaam has been a hot topic for us, and a lot of headway is being made for quest plotting. So, In parallel with Sload's WTG, we will again explore this Yoku worship, and anything related you can imagine.

If you don't know what I mean, consider these references:

- Take a look at this weekly think group. do any of the agreed minor or major gods inspire an image for you?

- Read up on This story in the obscure texts section, if you haven't already.

- Catch up on our last installment of the same topic

I doodled a bit because I was inspired somewhat to draw a picture of Tava. I hope you all don't mind me sharing it even if it's a very rough (and somewhat bleh) sketch at this point. If anyone likes it, I'll certainly clean it up a bit :)

a very cool Tava, Kikai (d'you mind Kikai? or Megami?). And once again, welcome to our board of concept-art.

Also, it's not bleh in the slightest :P

He doesn't happen to be shedding the skins of the past worlds? :D Anyway, my entries from the last Yoku WSG still stand, but I'll try and think up something new. :)

Thank you :) I don't mind Kikai, Lutemoth! Also, that image you post is crazy, awesome crazy, but crazy :)

Harke: Very colourful, but almost a bit too busy, maybe? Unless it's not meant for a model and is only meant for a tapestry or something.

a wee bit of drawing for another priest robe type thing. im not sure that its very piestly, but i do love it.

i do believe its light linnen wich has been -- very heavily -- embroydered. over the general robe there is a overlay, made of some heavier material and also embroydered. The hairstyle is just something that i thought would look cool on a priest.

PS. i know he dosent have ears. i think i just forgot to ink them and ended up errasing :P

That looks good, N. Is the robe that long, or did you not want to draw hands?

A quick rendition of crown attire.. Don't ask me why I drew a forebear yoku mask, I didn't feel like drawing a face :P

Beautiful. That crown is scary. I like how you've added amphibian/reptile eyes to the mask.

Sorry i haven't helped out by contributing to the WSG's like I used to.. i just haven't had the time.

And here is one of mine. One of my better concepts, I must say. Still it may have no place in Hammerfell whatsoever.

After hearing a bit about masks I gave the previous concept a Japanese-like dog mask.

And once again I'm redoing the face, less odd more godlike this time

Here is my concept of one of those gods.

I'll give it color when I get my tablet for Xmas (In about 8 hours  :D).

A few things about my concept:

*It has four "faces" they each have one eye and are stacked behind each other, each eye is to give perception into each (major) realm (Oblivion, Nirn, Aetheris(Sp?), and the outer realms).

*The "Armour" is fragmented, and when I come to actually giving it color I will make them look more like scales that have formed out of the skin (or clothes) so it is more reptilian.

*The bulbous head thing at the back is meant to be slightly transparent, and when I come to giving it color I will try and give it more of this effect.

Cheers,

TOYB
