Seeing as how my first one of these threads got sucked into Oblivion :'( ...I'll just have to start a new one! ...please tell me if I'm in the wrong place posting.

Healing if you pray at a Deadric shrine. Or some other random effect--we know how testy those Daedra are.

for Oblivion: be able to lead your horse around without getting on it.

Black Marsh: perhaps an idea for a book--a gigantic creature that lives in depths of the swamp and swallows things whole. The things it swallows take a long time to digest (so someone could be swallowed and writing a book in there. >.> ) A little strange, I know--but there have been stranger!

Be able to hop on the row-boats you see lying around and row off. More preferable to swimming if your a Khajiit, and probably much safer in Black Marsh.

I thought I had more, but they were sucked into Oblivion as well. Perhaps they'll come back later...

1) This is not lore. These are vague and random ideas, nothing more. Thus, you're in the wrong forum.
2) You should be polite and read the FAQ before posting in a forum. You don't even know what areas we're working on.
3) If you do want to contribute, the last thing we want is encouragement. We've got more than we can handle. Better get your feet wet in the lake of modding and start a showcase of yours.

I'm too lazy to form these thoughts into a post

1. El Scumbago should search Kevaar's posts before treating her like she's new.

2. Kevaar should know that times have changed. We no longer plan for provinces we won't ever make (which 3 and 4 are) and we no longer discuss including gameplay alterations (which 2 and 4 are).

3. We still want your participation, Kevaar, but don't expect it to be like the "old days."

Well, it may not be the old days, but i dont see a problem. Honestly, are ideas THAT harmfull to tamriel rebuilt? Wrong forum sure, but to say "no, we dont want your ideas, we want your labour" is outright foolish, and I think (personaly) thats very insulting. Really, what problems are there by creating mere IDEAS?!? I belive fun was the main reason for TR, not to be a rigid structure that we allow no free forming of ideas.

There's no problem with ideas. There're problems with ideas that we know will never come to fruition.

Why not throw out all of that art Spider and Dex did for Skyrim? It'll never come to fruition.

Personally, I think that the "modern" TR is boring, and it makes me feel that I'm living in soviet Russia. Since when was posting a random idea a bad thing? If this project is for "fun", as it is advertised, then things like this can and should be posted. If you haven't noticed, we had far more active and dedicated members in "the old days" when such things were legal. Nairb summed it up nicely.

Maybe if people lightened up, they'd see that modders do not want to have a hobby that isn't fun. That doesn't allow for some fooling around, some ideas out of the blue, some general chit-chat, even if it isn't going to be truly beneficial. I personally love to talk about this sort of thing. It always opens up some useful new ideas, even if the initial ones weren't.

Personally, I think it's good to have some random brainstorming around here, it makes the place more interesting. And even if most of them aren't of any practical use, some good inspiration can definitely come from these threads.
By the way, I found your old thread. I can resurrect it from the archives if you want. Just say the word.
