What to do when it's finished?

When hammerfall and perhaps other provinces are finished, can people simply download it? are we going to sell it? What will we do with the completed work?

We will release it for free, hence the .org in our name. Sort of like what we are doing with map 1 right now.

but if we were to sell it we would have to get paid to make it in the first place

mods are non-profit, so its released to all for free.

Unless Bethesda is so impressed by our work that they hire us all, like Valve did for the Counterstrike team.

But yes, as Lady_N said, this mod is a freely distributed dream. When (if?) we finish Hammerfell, Elder Scrolls: V will be out. Some of us will continue modding for that engine, others will have moved on, and new blood will have joined. I think as long as The Elder Scrolls exist, there will be people who become captivated by the vision of Tamriel Rebuilt, like I was, and who will want to contribute.

Hehe Eyeball, that dock of yours is more than enoguh work for one of those $1.99 updates.

I would love the TR team to be head hunted, but it would mean that some modders (as there are always people comign and going) would be cut out. I am sure I would not have enough time to become part of an actual professional team.

Unless ofcourse it happens after 6 months or so. That would be perfect!
