The unique Pantheon of Hammerfell (not final title)
By Danda Raccan
All the provinces of Tamriel follow their own Pantheon of gods, some of whom are revered in more than one province. There is one however, which is unique from the rest. The Yokudan pantheon is idolized exclusively in Hammerfell. No other race follows the gods that the Redguards do. What follows is a list of the Yokudan gods that have been gathered by myself and made into this book. Any traveller going to Hammerfell would be wise to read this.
Ruptga – Tall Papa
Ruptga is the chief deity of the Yokuda pantheon. Ruptga was the first to discover the walkabout, the process by which one can persist beyond one lifetime. Ruptga sets the stars in the night sky and by doing this shows others how to. His helper is the god Sep, who tends to the needs of lesser spirits.
Satakal – God of Everything
The Yokudan variation of Akatosh, Satakal destroys one world in order to instigate the next. Some believe Satakal to be behind the eventual destruction of Yokuda in the first era. Satakal is mainly revered amongst the nomads of the Alik’r desert.
Tu’whacaa – God of Souls
Once the world was created Tu’whacca became caretaker of the far shores and still helps Redguards to the afterlife. In the more cosmopolitan regions of Hammerfell, the cult of Tu’whacca is associated with Arkay, the Cyrodiilic god of souls.
Zeht – God of Farms
The god of Agriculture, at the creation of the world, he renounced his father and as a result, Ruptga now makes it very hard for crops to grow in Hammerfell.
Morwha – Fertility Goddess
An essential part of Yokudan deity and Ruptga’s favourite wife, Morwha is worshiped across Hammerfell even in Stros M’kai. Often depicted as having four arms in order to grab more husbands.
Tava – Bird God
The spirit of the air, Tava’s reputation was made famous by leading the Yokudans to the Isle of Herne after the destruction of Yokuda. She is now closely associated with Kynareth, the greatest of the sky spirits, and is popular amongst the sailors of Hammerfell, hence her shrines are all found in port cities.
Malooc – Horde King
The enemy god of the Ra Gada, Malooc led the goblin hordes against the Redguards back in the first era. Defeated by Hoonding, he fled east and is now rarely worshiped.
Diagna - Orichalc God
Diagna was an avatar of Hoonding that achieved permanent status. He played an important role in defeating the Left-handed Elves by providing the Yokudans with Orichalc weapons. In Tamriel, during the height of the Orcs power, he led a small band of followers to Orsinium but then slipped into obscurity. Diagna is now merely a local spirit in the Dragontail Mountains.
Sep – The Snake
Yokudan version of Lorkhan. Sep is the god who suggested the alternative to the Walkabout and thus the mortal world was created. The spirits that followed Sep became trapped in this new world and lived their lives out as mortals. Sep is now a void in the stars that attempts to upset mortal entry into the Far Shores.

Hmmm... not bad. In its current form, I'm not overly keen on this book. It's fairly unoriginal and has nothing that isn't contained in the Monomyth/Varieties of Faith. But that can be rectified...
In my opinion (i.e. this is a mere suggestion/guideline, not a command) It should take one of two paths:
1) The easiest, in my opinion, would be to make this a full-blown opinionated scholar wannabe Imperial twit (like Asessia Ottus) who describes the gods in a highly limited mind-set and makes derogatory remarks about the Redguard, and the glory of the Imperial Pantheon in contrast. It would be cool to have images of the Yokudan gods which adopt a standard Imperial style, instead of Lutey's twist, to show they're trying to show the Yokudan gods are a knock-off Imperial pantheon (or something of that ilk).
2) The long and arduous task of listing some (as all is impossible) of the many many Yokudan gods that Sload and others have conceived with their amusing names and purposes. This would be done from a Yokudan monk of some sort who was none too fond of the Imperial pantheon. You'll have to do some serious research on these forums for this though, it aint on TIL.
What does everyone else think?

I thought that Sep was Lorkhan, and Ruptga was a combination of two other gods. Personally, I like the idea of someone with a rather Lhutonic mindset who shows the Yoku gods and their Imperial counterparts, rather than someone at one of the extremes, or someone who worships other gods (an Altmer?) and says that both of the other religions are primitave. The former sounds as though it would be the most likely approach to a heavily distributed pamphlet, IMO.
