Harke the Apostle's Concept Art

I have a few concepts ideas that don't fit anywhere else, so i'm starting my own concept tread.
Here is what Dak'fron could look like:

Isn't Dak'Fron in the mountains or foothills of the Dragontails?
Otherwise, the concept is great. Keep 'em coming.

the dak'fron is indeed in the foothils of the dragontails, but it is still a harsh dessert. probably a lot less sandy than the the alik'r. me thinks your concept has a bit too much flora for a desert, but its sertainly a good start.
here are some referance pictures from back in the days of region split ups for hammerfell:

Plant wise, i believe the desert siren was approved for this region. i have it chilin' modeled and textured on my computer, though last i remember it needed work (it was a coop project of eyeball and me, him meshing and me texturing).

Dude I would love to see my Siren actualized!

This is my first sketch of a caravan serai. In my imagination it's supposed to become a modular set. (Once I understand SketchUp better I'll try to make a larger, two story version).

My second sketch with my first model (for comparison).

(my boyfriend thought the first one was a 'mosque for doggies').

Boyfriend?! I always thought you were male!
...or are you?

Maybe a bit too many domes. It makes it look like a lego brick from a distance.

I agree with Gez about the domes. But still, it's a nice start

I had the same experience when evergrey posted a pic in the off-topic member photo thread...
(There’s a pic of me in a Cairo apartment in there somewhere too).

Some boys like girls
And some girls like boys
But some boys like other boys
And some girls are just dykes

Evergrey was a dude?
Or did Evergrey mistake you for a girl?
Anyway, back to my main point I think the abundance of domes are cool, but it woudl ahve to be a feature of a city speciifcally, and, to be hoens thats just a mslla point, so it wouldn't be s specific poitn of interest (many domed house).
Actually Many domed house sounds awesome. Art mode? No I am too lazy.

No, I had assumed Evergrey was a guy.
The domes are the sucky part of the concept, the rest of the first concept looks acceptable (to me). I don't know SketchUP well enough to make the domes in the way they were in the foto I modeled the meshes after. This concept was the result of a discussion about the HF cities having a lot of empty space.

If we are all talkign about th same screens it's becuase the buildigns are so low rise, and spread out, and without clutter.
Nothing to do with busy architecture.

Haha, I only just now found this.
I'm a girl. The pirate is from a song called "you are a pirate." It is a very annoying song and it will get stuck in your head for weeks, and yet it is also strangely made of win.
Kind of.
Anyway, I'm female, and I've always been female. :p

Scourgebarrow is in dragontail: It wouldn't resemble typical Sentinel architecture. It's a highrock/wayrest tomb on the surface.
and would you still get inside by climbing into a coffin? i hope TR thinks soso....

I do really like the concept of it being in a mountainside though!

I have a new alternative temple concept, interior and exterior:

The statue of the God is meant to be in the middle, as proposed earlier. For variation’s sake, you might consider putting the statue against the back wall (the wall with the stairs on the other side) when the temple belongs to a Saint or Daemon God.
If the temple has a crypt of some kind, the most likely place for the crypt entrance is also in the back wall.
I made this since jelle asked for it in the object:claimed thread.
[edit 12-3-2009] A new Temple that fits the job description better.

The red planes behind the arches have been designed so the god frescos can go there.

The first of your two temple concepts looks like the sort you would find in a poor(er) town. Not that i think it looks bad, just less ornate.
The Second concept looks like some uber-fancy 'super-temple' for a especialy large and/or rich city.
The best comparison i can think of is that first is like the (cyrodillic) priory and the second is like the Catederal. How do they compare to each other size wise? Maybe a similar small and large combo could work here too.

Do not necromance old threads. Harke is long gone.
