This is meant to be an easy-to-access thread, which clearly showcases and explains the Yoku style, for modders wishing to contribute to the concept art forum.

Feel free to contribute with ideas derived from the style established by Lutemoth:

For my first post I have scanned a number of drawings and arranged them in a single image file. These are all my drawings. They either copy Lute's style, or expand upon his ideas.

Apart from the pattern, I'd say that the armour designs look almost Colovian.

I have no idea what Colovian armor looks like, aside from that yellow hat in Morrowind :P , but any input on these designs is welcome.

Honestly, I think the only one who can make a proper guide to Lutemoth's take on Yoku's style is... well, Lutemoth. I don't think it's necessary to make a visual guide to this style because I think Lute's art is already the best guide there can be. I believe studying his drawings was enough for me to incorporate plenty of his designs and style in my own art. Of course every new artist will have a new take on this, and may use the motifs in a new way, which is only good.

The only thing that might be added to the visual guide that Lute's art is, is a summary detailing which aspects/motifs are most important in Yoku art.
