Since I deleted my previous thread of concept artstuffs, I have now made a new one! After... 3 or so years? o.O I dunno.
Anyways, this thingy is supposed to be a silly plantling for the Argonian Jungle region or whatever.

It is obvious, that I got lazy by the time I got to sketching the details. The striped areas are supposed to show the bioluminescent areas on the plant (since Morrowind needs more bioluminescence). So, by my ideathing, the plant would have four vinethingies attached to the main podthing, similarly to the bitterroot plant, or whatever that was, and there would be two versions of the main podthing, an open one, which shows the petal and a closed one, which would have the eight leaves close around the petal.
Now, since I assume, that there is a lot of humidity in the Argonian Jungle or whatever, the plant could practically grow on anything, since it gets it's water with the leaves around the petal and at the end of the vinethings. So, theoretically, one of these plants could just wrap itself around a tree, hanging from a branch or just stand at the wall of a cliff, giving modders many ways to use it, yet being a pain in the ass to whoever would be willing to model it, if the concept was approved and whatever.
I probably had more to say, but I wandered AFK so many times during the writing of this post, that I forgot that I was even writing it.
EDIT:
After some discussion with Cathartis on teh I Are Of Sea, I came to realize, that it would make more sense if only the eggthingfruitling in the open petalthing should glow, to attract something to feed on it or something like that.

I should probably have scanned and posted this a lot earlier, since I have forgotten the majority of the ideas I had for this fellah, but I do remember that the species was called Yrtin or something and that they were hairy creatures, which had large underground nests, which would have a lot of rare mushrooms, that one can also find growing on the backs of these creatures.
So, basically, they are some sort of hairy creatures with a wooden shells growing on their backs and on their heads. The shells would have a lot of fungi growing on them, so I would prefer if the region that they would live in (Ohreleth Woods), by my concept, would have a lot of various new species of mushrooms around, some being ridiculously rare and such.
Only a small part of the dozens of the yrtins that do hatch manage to reach maturity, due to a lot of them just collapsing under the weight of their own shell and the fungi on them. I would kind of like to see some of their corpses having a whole treesized mushroom growing on them, just for the sake of an interesting look. But yeah, by how I see these creatures, there would have to be dozens of meshes for them, so I doubt that my own concept is exactly workable, but I posted it anyways.
The mature ones would be the only ones who would have grown a horn on their head. They occasionally use the horn to cut up the shells of the dead yrtins for the sake of a feast, in case they do not have much other food available. And I am still quite certain I forgot a lot of the ideas I had in mind for them. Anyways, if my computer was more stable, I would try to learn to model decently just for these fellows.

I actually kinda like the idea of a creature with fungus growing on it's back (though it would really have to be a slow and often stationary creature). The lore details you came up with are interesting though probably not feasible. The design itself looks like a dressed up dog to me, and I regret to say that I don't think it looks good. It would need a completely different design to make it work in Morrowind.
A chitin shell (or something of the kind) with stuff growing on it would also make more sense than a creature (partly) made of wood.

As I assumed the response to that to be.
Oh well. :3
