Yes, another year has gone by! This one saw a different side of the project compared to most recent years, but do not mistake our silence; it simply means we're working so hard to finish our work that we don't have time to talk about it at length. So below is a succinct list of the major milestones of Tamriel Rebuilt in the year 2010.
February 9th - TR releases its Hammerfedlian Artbook, showcasing much of the great concept art during our time working on and preparing for the Hammerfell mod for TES IV: Oblivion.
March 13th - TR moves server hosting, from the UK to the US, to coincide with garfield's new residence in the US.
April 10th - Nomadic1 steps down as Head of Interiors and in his place comes Cathartis.
May 22nd - Lady Nerevar steps down as administrator of the project to focus on the Hammerfell mod for Oblivion.
September 28th - TR begins a good will campaign by releasing HD footage of its work, followed by more footage and high definition screenshots of its modders' work.
October 21st - Our Status page gets a revamp, removing broken aspects and providing a more personal update.
November 20th - The quite popular Screenshots section of the website is updated, with all-new screenshots being added for the first two sub-sections, and more to come for the remaining sub-sections.
November 26th - The NPC and Dialogue claim that holds Almalexia, the capital city of Morrowind, is begun!
November 28th - The Interiors: Reviewing section is cleared completely of all interiors (over a hundred!) waiting to be approved.
December 9th - Big News! Exterior work on Necrom, TR's Sisyphean Hill, is completed. Work began this day on the NPC and Dialogue stage.
Also in the news this year was a complete re-tooling of the "Map 4" region. The content we had originally was too often below our current quality levels, and our exterior modders did a tremendous job of redoing the entire map in several months. This is a huge accomplishment of never-before-seen speed at the project, a speed that will see us working on Dres lands by the end of 2011 if it continues. Additionally, Sacred East and Almalexia detailing was finished and work is now heavily underway on NPCing and Dialogue work.
Work has been started, and continues, on the "Map 5" region, which is also looking at a large re-tooling in the near future. In terms of "Map 3" area content, Old Ebonheart was redone, and is a much better piece of work overall.
It may seem like not a lot happened this year, but rest assured that we have been busier than ever these past twelve months, ensuring that the content we create and release is of the highest quality. A lot of the big changes and milestones the project has experienced in 2010 happened behind the scenes, and as such aren't quite ready for public announcement or really appropriate for putting into words. We are very close to being able to share some exciting new things with the public, and cannot wait until that time comes! Wishing everyone happy holidays, and a happy new year!

Wow, that's very impressive. Our exterior modders are really on a streak of awesomeness. The only question is whether our other departments can keep upHaplo wrote: This is a huge accomplishment of never-before-seen speed at the project, a speed that will see us working on Dres lands by the end of 2011 if it continues.
Happy New year everyone and may it be as sucessful as this one. Who knows, we might be able to get both Sacred East and Almalexia out this year.

Indeed. Dres lands will be most difficult to work on if we can't get our dres set made. (hint hint modelers)Yeti wrote:The only question is whether our other departments can keep up
