So I came here with the hopes of being able to contribute with my writing skills... and after taking one look at the Showcase and Literature and Writing sections, I can honestly say I have no idea what to do, where to start, how to start, or even if I should! I see that you guys have some pretty strict boundaries and guidelines for what writers can/can't write.
I originally wanted to help with writing quests, so how would I go about doing that? Writing it in screenplay format?
I could write books, too, but looking at the Literature forum I am quite confused about what to write and how to go about writing it... is there a user here to whom I could report, or anything like that?
Sorry for the onslaught of questions! This project has been an interest of mine for two years, and I'm just now trying to contribute, because I want to help it achieve it's goals!

Look at the questing showcases and guidelines and practice your skills creating the quests in the CS. Writing large and grandiose questlines is simple compared to the amount of technical work, planning, and testing that implementing the quests themselves entails.
My suggestions is work on interiors or questing (which is writing AND doing).
