Dragonfly/Dartwing ingredient

Post by Ashstaar »

Here is a dragonfly ingredient and dragonfly "swarm". The dragonfly swarm (Bethesda's model)is an activator so could be set up and named, then have a small "container" script that gives you a small chance of "catching" a dragonfly when you activate it. Very simple and makes the dragonflies into something useful. Not just an activator.

Cool idea, but unlike Skyrim, the only way in Morrowind to catch a dragonfly is to pound the space key for minutes. Is there an easy way to make the dragonflies slower?

Hah, very funny. They are quite quick aren't they. I slowed them down to half speed (had to edit the animation a bit). I was able to activate them but you do have to be quick. This could make the chance of "catching" one much higher/guaranteed if you can activate it. This could also make them valuable and there could even be dialog saying how hard they are to catch. Need to use the dragonflies_15 files for the slower ones.
