Elder Scrolls Online

Hi guys. First: Love your work

Second: With ESO announced and portraying all of tamriel, how much are you going to allow that to influence your work? Once it's out will you just copy-paste what has been done by zenimax into your mod, making slight adjustments for the change in era and game engine? Or will you continue to work the way you are now?

It's your mod, and I'm sure whatever you choose will be for the best of it and your fans. I personally reckon your mod is in many respects better than what's been done by Bethesda of late. But obviously you guys are basing your work in the established lore, and wouldn't be here if it weren't for bethesda's initial work. If I were working on ESO would have turned to TR to get ideas for the rest of Morrowind.

Much love to you guys, please keep the amazing work.

I'm interested in seeing how TESO portrays the southern parts of Morrowind, landscape wise. If the game provides good lore besides that I guess we'll be influenced to some extent.

Keep in mind, they won't necessarily portray all of Morrowind, just certain parts of it, so it will depend on which locations they portray and how they portray it. Though I doubt TR is in the business of copying and pasting anything, we would certainly be inspired by how they portray certain areas. Though this depends, as I said before, on which areas they show, if it suits TR's own designs suitably, and that TR is impressed enough by it.

PS: To go off topic, this post really tripped me up when I read it, I was planning to do a similar post myself! (mainly to gauge other people's views on it).

I'm willing to bet that they make Dres lands look a lot like Indoril. I'm also willing to bet, as this game is supposed to take place in the 2nd era, that they leave out extraneous non-Great Houses that should still exist - because it's an MMO and MMOs suck. :)

You don't take lore lessons from a game that allies the Dunmer with the Nords and Argonians. I mean... come on!
