Lord Andres Indoril plays games and needs questions.

As some of you know, I started a youtube channel back in January, on which I play video games. Yay. Everyone do that Let's Play dance!

Anyway! I started this thread, because I am approacing my 100th video, which I plan on making a Q&A session about anything. But for that, I need questions. So, feel free to ask me anything and I will answer it in the video and I will link the video here once it is made.

As a diversion, I will link all my playlists:

(which is actually on Cathartis' channel, but I have it as a playlist anyway and all playlists mean all playlists)

(which has Massalinie in all the episodes thus far, who is the salvation of this series)

(which is a series with one video with two Estonians)

The important part of this topic is that you supply me with random silly questions! Do it!

You ever gonna do a Morrowind/Oblivion LP?

Ever heard of "Final Fantasy?" It's a pretty good game with great music and great storylines.

If you have a console, what console do you use?

Where can I get Half-Life? Is it on Steam, or PlayStation Store?

Do you think we should have a Minecraft server for TR to build models of various WIP cities?

What Minecraft server is it? Is it private? Can I join sometime?

If I start making YouTube videos, would you and probably TR's members watch my videos?

Do you have a pet? Is it a cat? What's its name?

How is your Skyrim LP structured? Does it contain DLC, specifically Dragonborn?

You're welcome for my surplus amount of questions.

How do you manage not to fall in love with Cat's sultry British accent?

Oh! If you could recommend only ONE of your series, which would it be and why?

Just to clarify, I will be recording this session on next Sunday and am most likely going to publish it on the following Tuesday or something like that. :P

Well, plenty of time to post questions! :D

BTW, my last question was a how-about-you-answer-this-now kind of question; I haven't watched any of your vids, and I wanna start off with a good, author-recommended series. :)

Oh, I will remove it from the list then.

I'd personally say Skyrim, since that is the easiest for me to play, so probably the easiest to watch, since I am most relaxed in that. Also, you seem to have an interest in TES series (since you are on this forum), so that might also help. The start of the series is a bit on the poorly side, but I like to think it gets better. :P

Okay, thanks! Your Half-Life series good? :)

EDIT: Here's one for the list. What's your favourite Skyrim music?

EDIT 2: I'm just full of questions today :) What recording software are you using? How much does it cost? What kind of microphone and recording software do you recommend to someone who doesn't have that much money on him?

I do not really think that I want to use more than three questions per asker and you ask a lot of questions that are better googled. D:

EDIT: Right, the Half Life series occasionally has some audio trouble, because I had been letting fraps record the audio, this is no longer the case.

Right, sorry. Just watched your first episode of Skyrim! It was pretty funny. "They were gonna get married! D: And now they will never know happiness because, well, they're dead!" LOL! But how would a spider wear a ring? I'm pretty sure the random jewelry found on monsters is parts of their past victims, and you found the ring in its stomach.

Spider: Hold up a sec! *regurgitates ring* Will you marry me? Ahahaha, I have no life... :)

I am going to bump this, to beg people to question me further. Legitimate questions are fine too.

Okay fine. Why do you tube? Do you want to get an audience and make money or is that a secondary concern to just having some fun recording things?

If I were to record a game on my PS3, how would I go about doing that?

When you are finally, at some point in the future, crowned queen of the YouTubes (and thus automatically the king of Estonia), will you still keep making awesome and profoundly silly interiors for TR? Also how dare you name your character Arrille? He's a respectable merchant and not a no-good adventurer that makes a living by killing flying lizards and butterflies.

Aw, you could totally do a Morrowind/Oblivion LP!! Veriax seemed to get a lot of viewers from his series, and you could easily mod Oblivion to make it more interesting, though in my opinion, it was more interesting than Skyrim. (City-Swimmer goes shopping.)

If you ever want to play Final Fantasy, it's recommended to at least get an iPod or iPad, as SE ported the first five games to the Apple App Store. My first FF game was FF5, and it was amazing in my opinion. There were three FF games for PS1, they were all good. And SE have TWO FF MMOs released (FF11, FF14 [nearly done 2.0]) that you can play on PC. I might get them as soon as I get a computer, so hook up to my server (tell you which one I've chosen) when I get there if you ever want to play with me (We could even make a YouTube series!)

I see your point on Minecraft server. I was also thinking of it majorly being a relaxing break from working at TR all your spare time :P Sorry for not including that in the question.

Cool cat! I've got two morbidly obese cats (ones sitting right beside me as I type this).

Great vid! Thanks for taking and answering my questions!! :D
I feel so happy for my Internet alias to even be said on YouTube!!!!

P.S. When (or if) I ever start a Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Final Fantasy or other LP, who would watch it?

Apple gear is probably even more ridiculously expensive in Estonia than it is in Western Europe and the US. Probably much easier to just use an emulator or something, that's what I'd do.

Entirely depends on if you have a sexy voice or not :P

Dammit! I don't know if I have a sexy voice!!! D:

Well, the emulator thing is good and all, but it's hard to find a legal/well-running NES/SNES/PS1/PS2 emulators. :/

Well, maybe time will tell for my... SSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXYYYYYYYY VOICE!! At least, that what I think. Let me know when (and if) I make an Oblivion LP.

Also, how hard is it to mod Oblivion? I kinda wanna make my own overhaul for it. :P

As far as I knew, the only console that truly needs a powerful computer to emulator is PS2. Most PCs these days should be able to play NES/SNES/PS1, N64 just fine and many others.

I don't think there's such a thing as a truly legally fine emulator, there really should be laws that make software and games public domain as soon as a company stops making new discs/cartridges of them and then we wouldn't be in this mess.

by TheLexicon
Ah. Yeah, except that the company may want to remake and sell it, or something.
It should be after 25 years of no remaking, reselling, or otherwise leaving the game untouched since the game was pulled off the shelves.

Speaking of buying and returning to my post above, I have to ask what kind of microphone I have to use. Blutooth? Don't know.

Oh, have a link to the silliest "voice acting" I have done in a while. You can watch the whole video if you want, but this links you to the important bit.

Slight bump to mention that I started a Half Life 2 playthrough today. Should be fun.

Awesome. Can I buy Half-Life on Steam? Where can I get a copy of Half-Life?

Posted: Sun Apr 21, 2013 1:39 pm

...you could have just searched on Steam, but yes it is, and probably rather cheap, too.

Thanks! And yeah, I guess I could, but sites like that are better searched on computers.

That won't spoil the series, right? I've been getting into it again. My iPod buffers the video SO SLOWLY it looks like the punchline to a joke about turtle and molasses drag-racing.

It only spoils as much as that I have gathered Jiub's Opus and read it while in the location that Jiub's Opus is at. It has awesome voice acting of the dunmer kind! Myes! Quite!

Just watched it. Pretty funny, but that was a pretty good Dunmer voice! :)

Thank you. I do pride myself in my Dunmer voice not being terribly horrible.

I don't know if I could do ANY inpersonation right. Just don't have that malleable of a voice?
