The TR Todo

List of more-or-less concrete work yet to be done. Because nobody knows everything (and neither do I, so please do edit / add to this list). In no particular order of nature, priority or scope...

- get tutorials back up on the website

- have a skype

- make open-ended, low-priority "showcase claims" for interiors and quests

- get the new items in Data. If the current 'object reviewing' model keeps indefinitely holding things up, decide on a new way to include objects.

- fix and clean up Data bugs and generally review Data models.

- fix TR_Mainland.esp back to a releasable state (now should be mostly some exterior bugs remaining)

- wrap up the last update to SE

- province-wide planning: difficulty regions, flora repartition, (possibly mining resources according to Houses?)

- design the Temple faction and overhaul Necrom. Decide whether the exterior needs tightening up; decide what's desired on the Ordinator-in-Mourning voice acting front

- figure out House Indoril and Almalexia

- design Hlaalu, Redoran

- get new fauna

- finish Kemel-Ze, essentially puzzle and gameplay design of the IAS questline and integrating the great unused cells.

- overhaul generic dialogue, fixing bad entries, adding new ones, making mod-wide scout/savant dialogue, and plugging/replacing Vvardenfell-specific vanilla topics

- final a fuckton of reviewed ints

- review and merge quests (currently q2-29, q2-17, q2-16, q3-11, q3-6) (Dondril quests are already reviewed but sitting until m3a2 is merged into the main file)

- section work, AND-Thirr: merging interiors, exterior tweaking, city design, (then making areas NPC-ready, NPCing, misc-questing...)

- section work, Old Ebonheart: ??? (cove, castle, NPCing, OE guild quests, etc.)

- section work, OTH-Thirr: Almas Thirr city design, Roa Dyr tweaking, Othrensis changes, exterior work...

- open the section to finish exterior work south of OTH-Thirr, which is the same region. Including northern part of Lake Andaram, and a Hlaalu fortress (Novas Andaram?)

- "alpha" work: rearranging leftover m4

- merging interiors into m4 - m5. (note: the claims browser is especially borked for much of m4, good luck)

- design new rocks for the Othreleth mushroom forest if that's truly the hold-up there (&/or any tweaks of the flora models needed?)

- replace bad books

- (this may be largely impossible) recover forgotten assets and work (eg pocket planes, various good interiors that were entirely revoked for repurposing...) so that they can be made available to use if desired. edit: thread here

especially long-term:

- decide to what extent quest factions are to be merged with vanilla, and when and how to start merging them. Some info

- design Dres, region assets, cantons

- design non-core factions (Morag Tong, Imperial Legion?, Daedric cults?, Vampire factions?)

- redesign Telvanni

An excellent comprehensive list, rot.

Personally, I think we should hold off on Kemel-ze for now, seeing as we don't know what changes will be made to Marog and Helnim when we get around to remastering the Telvanni lands.

If we need someone to review objects, I could ask Worsas or someone else from SHotN or Province Cyrodiil to lend a hand.

Kemel-ze is entirely self-contained and independent from the Telvanni redo - the only reason why it's still not done is people aren't interested in doing it (and it was hidden for a long time)

Seneca is currently fixing a lot of furniture and I think wolli has been reviewing and fixing other meshes too?

I was thinking more along the lines of someone to review the model claims in reviewing and provide feedback for current claims.

Also, we definitely need a thread for posting and storing orphaned interiors for future use.

I disagree with the Hlaalu and Redoran designs being long term, as these will be essential in making stuff work for Heartland and Veloth.

Other than that, good list. We need to build off from where we left off from in the Master Plan, then really get to work on our factions. We're struggling in that regard, and I fear all our other stuff will stall until we sort these issues out.

Also, I've been wanting this for months, but a list of interiors and quest claims that can be done as part of the showcase.

Right, Redoran still seems far away but city/interior work on it might happen sooner than expected. What's the state of non-m4 Hlaalu lands?

And yes someone to review models would be great, if only on a technical level - as far as style is concerned they can surely be judged by general opinion.

I'd add "better internal cohesion" to the list of things to generally think about (ie more links between the different sections/regions/cities and ultimately between the mainland and Vv) but that's probably for the House and faction questlines (more cross-region misc quests could be good too)

Does anyone want to use to-do list software to track the different things that need to be done? There's a lot of free programs out there that can track this sort of thing, and since they can be done in a public fashion, it might be worth it.

I happen to use ToDoist myself, as it has the kind of subdividing power that makes large-scale project organization feasible.

Hah, fascinating if outdated to-do list. I'd personally be in favour, though I've never used any such programs myself and would need to familiarize myself with whichever one we end up using first.
