Another made up town here, this time its a Redoran town on the coast opposite Labrys island that i made in the 6 cells BV gave me in his 5-4 claim. If you d/l that claim you can see it. its a basic little town, with a small dock for a little boat, just so it can have some links with the outside world. but it does have a main quest. there is a manor in the cell below the town that it surrounded by walls. the entrance has been caved in, and nonone has gone in or out for many years. not hard to guess that there is something strange going on. but there is one other thing. in the cell to the left of the manor cell is a swamp, just any ordinary swamp with a tree stump. but in the night strange sounds can be heard from inside. if the player activates the stump - they find a secret passage that leads them to the source of the noise. and its not very pleasant. ill reveal the rest of the story in good time, but if anyone has any coments so far, or wants to form another nice community around this place, feel free.

yay, I have absolutely no support for this whatsoever! meh, itll all change once they open up the interiors.

Hmm, I overlooked this thread. Yeah, the story sounds good so far. Very mysterious. This could be a good 'horror'quest. What's happening inside the manor? Necromantic experiments? All kinds of deformed beasts feeding on the nearby villagers at night? :D

IDEA:
How about a necromancer who created some horrible monster. The necromancer already died but the monster still lives inside the 'ghost'manor. Every now and then, the villagers have to throw a 'sacrifice' in the swamp to keep the monster happy... :D ... and maybe the player is next...

Inferno Str1ke, I like your storyline and I think it will work very well. When we get to doing NPCs and dialog, we could have someone in nearby Verarchen Hall share a rumor about Hla'Ruhn...

yes, good ideas here. and we would need some way to guide a person over to Hla Ruhn, after all it isnt very noticeable.
I also like the sacrifice idea - maybe they use slaves, but now theyve run out - but you're the only outlander in town, so they might as well use you. wed have to keep dialogue very sketchy, so that the player never guessed what was going on - maybe we could have someone send you on a quest, or give you hints to investigate the swap - then you are 'suddenly' dragged under!

Ever done the "Horror of Castle Xyr" quest in Mournhold? The full script of that play is downright creepy...at least for Morrowind.

again, now im back and especially as the quest, npc and interior contorling of Bal Oyra is drawing to a close, what is going on with this town, has anyone claimed any interiors for it yet?

well, im guessing thats a no then. well, if anyone does claim anything in the town, let me know here. atm i cant do any more developments on what the town should be like, GCSE revision is calling, but ill do some updates when i have more free time.

i noticed that u used heavily the shadowing .. that is good for colouring the zones but i would suggest u to use it more light and darker only under statics ...

and u may want to add some more details like flora and furnitures ...

well thats for the mods to sort out when they check over map5. i submitted it as part of BVs claim 5-4, it got approved, im done with the exterior. if i finish my other claims before its been looked at, ill sort it out then. and i dont know why the pics dont display on yours - they display ok to me. but thanks for putting another version up - ill link to it so mine displays fine with the list.

ok np when u want to display something i usually upload the file then i download copy the link and use it as image for showing ... that way always work....

ok, so the story is gonna be to do with that abandoned manor (oh, and can someone come up with a working script to block it all off? so noone can go over the walls, the stuff i tired (the character creation boundries) doesnt work). There will be some sort of malign prescence there, though ive not thought what yet, id like something more than smuglers or a necromancer though. the player will acess the area through the treestump actiavtor ive placed, just off the left edge of the above screenshot. im thinking they will be dragged in through a script once theyve been told about strange things in the swamps by the locals. There will be rumours placed in BV's town nearby to let the player know about Hla'Ruhn and the mysterious goings on.
