I was wondering how much thought has gone into dialgue outside of the province of Morrowind. Obviously there are many topics and responses that wouldn't make sense outside the province. Short of making unique dialogue for every NPC, something needs to be done.
I was thinking that regions outside of Morrowind should have a new naming convention to make the job of the writers easier. All regions outside Morrowind could be named something like "province": "region/city", "interior." So a cell of the Bard's College in Haafingar might be named Skyrim: Haafingar, Bard's College, and the cells that make up the region of The Reach would be called Skyrim: The Reach. Then a dialogue writer could make a new response near the top of say "Morrowind Lore" that would include a filter "Cell: Skyrim." When you ask most people in Skyrim about "Morrowind Lore" you'd get a generic reply like, "It's the land of ash to the East. I'd stay away from there if I were you." Maybe if you're a dark elf and the NPC is not it would be, "You should know more about it than I do."
I haven't played Tribunal or Bloodmoon, so I don't know if this issue was addressed in these add-ons. Let me know what you think.
Dialogue outside Morrowind and cell naming conventions

It didn't get much press because our focus is on Morrowind. Any other discussion not having to do with our current situation will simply take away from our efforts to complete Morrowind, and better yet, maps 1, 2 and 5.
