Hello. I'm vrover, it's a bit of a funny story how I found TR, I was zooming around IRC looking for a happenin' server, picked whatNET at random, saw the channel name, joined, noticed the topic, and dropped my jaw on the floor.
Haven't modded Morrowind too much before, mostly amateur stuff- I'm a dab hand at writing, however, and I'd rather like to write a book or two. Also, I do some modelling with maya. Mostly really simple stuff like matchboxes and things, I can do complicated things but obviously it will take me longer.
However, zephyr tells me that you need as many people as possible, so whatever. I'll pick up some project requests from the other forums. I noticed someone requested a ripped/broken book. Sounds good to me, I'm decent at doing broken stuff, a-heh-heh.
I'm extremely glad to be a part of this, and I quite admire your epic goal.

No, as a matter of fact I do not know what you're talking about, and frankly I find you smelly and disappointing.

Woo! A warm welcome to you!
We need all teh modelers we can get, and even if you can only make small things, we need those too! We need every model we can get. Of course, be sure to go by the local rules (sorry, but with a project of that size, you need to have rules) ... There should be stickies in the Creatures and Models forum that explain what you need to know. Also, our local modelers will happily tell you everything you want to know, or link you to some place that has a good tutorial on that.
If you feel at ease with the ES CS, do soem modding there ... especially interiors are always in demand.
And as for books ... one can never have enough books. Check the literature forum and see what is already there.
Of course, whatever you choose to do, be sure to read up on lore in the Imperial Library, as game lore is what we use as guidance to make this whole thing.
Anyway, however you choose to contribute, your work will be welcomed!

But someday ... I will be back.

yeah. The modelling done for TES: III is all done in 3DS Max...preferrably 4/5, since they have the only .NIF exporters.
