Now this could be heavily used for new creatures.

Not to brag or anything but I figured that out a long time ago. The problem with doing this is that people using a plugin using new blood would have to edit their own ini file to include the new blood and then give it to the creature in the editor thats supposed to have new blood. Which always seemed to me like giving someone who downloaded your mod more work than they would want to do.

just just package your ini file with the plugin and warn them to back up their old one.

Yea, I'm with Nazz. The first thing i ever did with teh ini file is precisely that. i though everyone knew that by now.

I tihnk it MIGHT work for weather too, i haven't tried that, but probably not.
So strange this place. Far from the marsh.

I tried to make a sandstorm for a new weather effect with INI editing, this did not work. I tried this before i got bloodmoon though.

Actually there's a programm called mINI which let's u apply some changes to your ini file through packages. Try ASE. It has it included. Very neat and helpful.

As Stalker says with this utility it's really no problem at all. It takes just a few seconds and you can change a lot of things about the game, like blood colours, wheather sounds and a lot more. Now I don't really see the point in this (it isn't really possible to add anything really interesting this way IMO), but the point that it takes more time is undone with this simple utility.
