Floating daedric fortress

Post by Dres »

It would be cool if you make a flying fortress that you can see only by flying and the people would talk about it!

Let me guess, with a portal to Oblivion, right?

Sorry but you have to get to know how things around here. We try to keep to lore, try to keep things in-line with those that are already in-game. And don't add things just because someone thinks it's cool. If you don't know a lot about lore and still want to write quests and come up with ideas, visit The Imperial Library, which is the most complete site for The Elder Scrolls lore:

No reason to apologise, I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just trying to get you in the right direction so you can actually contribute to the project by making up good lore-compatible quests.

I am preety sure you wouldn't have to be flying to notice a huge lump of red architecture floating around in the sky.

There's already a mod made on this topic for Vvardenfell. Check out the 'Flying Dwemer Fortress' mod out there sometime... It's likely the best-made mod I've ever played. And it incorporates quite a bit more than just a flying dwemer fortress and a sunken daedric one.

You're right Garriath.
One of the best plugins I ever played.

IMHO the whole flying fortress thing isn't completely out of place. A Dwemer fortress makes more sense though, since they've got flying ships aswell.

It was canceled (unless Stalker is still working on it as a bolt-on).

Nah. I checked it, it looks like the MoDH is now the Core's responsibility. Pity...
