Since I am about to embark on a long book writing spree for TR, I also needed lore. A lot in fact. So please, if any one is reading this, please feel free to offer any info you know. Here's what I need:
-Lore on the Emperor Pelagius, who was assasinated by the DB.
-Lore on dunmer marriages and other customs they may have (I know a bit but I am more concerned on the marriage part)
-Lore on the Nords of Skyrim at the time that Red Mountain first erupted.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could aid me with my books I am writing for Jacurutu.
Sincerely, Colostriph.

I've been [very, very slowly] writing a book describing [antiquated] marriage ceremonies in Tamriel.
The idea I'm going with for the Chimer -- the race that became Dunmer -- is that much of their society is based either on Aldmeri culture, or in the defiance of it. Since the Aldmer no longer exist, and the Altmer are all about purity and preservation, it's safe to assume that much of Altmer culture is the same or similar to Aldmeri.
With the Altmer being so concerned with purity, one would expect a particular stiff elaborateness in marriages, being that marriage often equals offspring.
In contrast, Chimer -- who appreciate Mephala -- are promiscuious and not as concerned with purity. So I would expect relative simplicity in marriages, and that the process would be open to adaptation if the persons involved wanted something a little different from the norm.
I'm sure the marriage ceremony laid out by Veloth would be simple and adaptable, because surely each of the Houses would have their own twist on it... and surely the Ashlanders would have a ceremony different from the House Chimer, and perhaps different even from tribe to tribe. In general, I would expect Indoril and Dres to have the most elaborate and formal marriages, while Redoran's would be more simple but just as formal. Hlaalu's ceremony would be larger and less formal, and a good deal more "Imperial". Telvanni probably don't have much in the way of ceremony, treating it more like a business arrangement. Past that...

I have kleptomania, but when it gets really bad, I take something for it.

I'll take a closer look at your questions when I get my brain started up, but my quick reply is...
Look around for Core members and be sure to get their input. Lore of TES in general isn't the same as lore here at TR. What I mean is that there have already been many decisions made regarding the parameters of some lore topics - makes good sense. Some of us offer lore advice, only to learn it was bad advice because the core has already decided it will be different. I've learned to wait until the Core has a chance to respond before I say much.
