Since I am on a rather permanent medical leave of sorts (due to a car accident a while back in which I was a pedestrian struck down), I have the luxury of time.
My daily activities greatly vary. However, usually involved are the common factors of staying up far too late, getting sporadic amounts of sleep, smoking way too many cigarettes, and drinking too much coffee.
Since we are talking about today specificially, all of the above mentioned were included in addition to:
1) Spending time with my nine-year-old stepdaughter who is over for a weekend visit.
2) Basic house maintainence (cooking, cleaning, etc.).
3) Doing a bit of painting on the computer so I can submit the image(s) before I reach the age of 70, which would please Graff. (Restructuring and adding color to the original very rough sketch of the ceremonial dress.)
That's pretty much all at the moment.

My life is kind of boring...every week-day seems the same from the outside: wake up, dress, feed the dog, walk the dog, eat, watch TV, go upstairs with the desire to finish homework, end up watching the TR forums or playing polar rescue, walk to the bus stop, go to school...
And then school is just the same: 4 periods of 75 minutes, with a lunch hour of and 90 minutes (where I usually end up finding something to do). Each terribly interesting period (that was sarcastic) ends up being full of surprises and very little learning, especially math class.
And then I go home and prepare my notebook so it looks like I did my math homework and then go on TR again, or play polar rescue (I persist on telling you that my personnal score is 397!) or play morrowind or play Resident Evil 4.
At least weekends are colourfull, and I have alot of play practices these days cause we're presenting a play the 18th and 19th.

Wake up around 8 or 9. Attempt to move Serra (the AlphaFemale, for those of you who aren't cool enough to talk to her) off of me without waking her. Start the day with my ritualistic morning piss, usually accompanied by an equally-satisfying morning shit.
Cook breakfast, and eat it with Serra, who always manages to sit down at the table the second I am done cooking (it's like clockwork).
Take shower, throw on any clothes that are relatively clean, and study until class, which begins at noon or noon-thirty. I bring lunch to class with me, and consume it in the most disruptive manner possible. Nothing is more fun than to answer questions about the influences of culture and politics on art with a mouth full of cheesesteak.
When classes get out, depending on the day of the week, I go to work (I'm a chef, not a cook, get it right), go to my mentor's gym, get the dudes together for jamming, or go to the thursday night open-house wrestling gig at the university gym. That's usually entertaining.
Get home from whatever I am doing that night, shower the filth off me, cook and eat dinner, study or be artistic for a while, and go to sleep around 2 or 3.
My schedule is broken up by brief spurts of TR activity. This includes modding and yelling at idiots. Modding also falls into the "artistic" category.

Studying music & social science for the last year in high school, practicing Kendo at a couple of occations per week, hanging out with my friends to grab a beer now and then as well as I spend the spare time at home with TR, EVE: second genesis, various games (at the moment, Arcanum, Xenogears and Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines) or by playing the electric guitar/bass. (And not to forget about Anime)
I used to work for The Boeing Company until I got laid off in 2002, in the aftermath of 9/11/2001. With over 30,000 layoffs in my region from Boeing alone, the job market here has been extremely tough. No one seems to want to hire a Boeing refugee, I assume it's because they're afraid Boeing will recall the ex-Boeing job candidate. No job offers in nearly three years. Financially things are tight but thank goodness my wife has had steady employment, and my stock trading brings in some money (when I'm not losing!)
So what do I do all day? Get up at 7 AM, trade stocks and get my son ready for school, take him to school, come back and trade stocks until 1 pm (market close in my time zone), take a walk or work out on my Nordic Track, housework and job hunt (gotta keep plugging away at the job search), run errands and shopping, pick up son from school and take him to any activities he may have, make dinner for the family, stock market research and more job hunting in the evening, play with kids, maybe some TV and net surfing or reading. Sometimes play games like TES.
Spring/Summer/Fall--Backpacking as often as possible. Winter--Skiing and revamping my Backpacking gear.
Occasional items--household projects. Examples: Built a 32'x14' deck, built a 28'x12' patio underneath the deck, paved the south side of the property with paver blocks, remodeled the basement, painted the exterior, remodeled both upstairs bathrooms, installed hardwood floors.
Wish list of things to do:
Triple Crown--Thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Appellachian Trail (total of about 7900 miles) before my 50th birthday (I'm 45 now).
Hike the coast to coast trail in England.
Bicycle the perimeter of Australia.
Hike the length of New Zealand.
Visit Europe again (did a 6-month tour of Europe and Morrocco in 1985. I'd love to go back and cover the things I missed the first time.)

My week has been great.
1. No school (Spring Break)
2. Wireless internet connection and a wonderful laptop
3. I'm home all day.
4. I've forgotten what day of the week it is.
I get up at 7-8 O'clock, eat breakfast if I'm hungry, channel surf, internet surf, channel surf, nap, channel and internet surf at the same time, nap, wake up and move to the couch so I don't have to move too much after my upcoming nap, nap, channel surf, internet surf, stare at walls (recently painted), listen to a soundtrack (I've been listening to it for almost 10 hours, not non-stop).
Thats about it.
My weekdays are the hight of boredom.
1. That nice wireless internet conection is at my dad's house and I live with my mom and her gorilla of a husband (Mom and Dad are divorced)
2. My mom actually asked me what the internet was.
3. Mom and gorilla got rid of tivo and we don't even get the basic channels any more.
4. It's easier to mail letters to my cousin then to e-mail her. (dial-up conection! )
so my schedual for the weekdays are:
get up at 7:00, get to the bus stop at 7:50 or 7:55, go through a horrible aspect of school (I have no social life, none. And my parents wonder why I'm reclusive.), walk home, either sit in my room and mod from 4 to 9 or play Morrowind (Pillow forts!) listen to my favorite cd (annoy parents!!!)
I have nothing to do for 5 hours. I never really thought about this...
Let me say that the only reason I have no friends is because everyone at my school is either an idiot, racist, or snobbish rich anorexic (spelling?)

I've never seen a single script with your name on it. You know there's a name for 15 year olds who claim to have extensive programming knowledge. We call them 'Lamers'.Rian wrote:yep, the life of a booorrreddd 15 year-old with extensive programming knowledge, no video card, and no money to buy a video card.
I wake up around 8, drive to AACC, on MWF I have bio/comp/C++, TuThu I have Calc/VB/Java/Sociology.
Get home around 3-4, do accounting with my father till about 6, homework/mess around online till about 10, then play Halo 2 online until 4 in the morning. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Perhaps you ought to reconsider? Take ten minutes with your amazing knowledge and write a script for a quest. Or post in the scripting help section. Anything, I don't care. If you're any form of programmer, you could and should be helping with scripting. Simple as that.Rian wrote:i don't do tes scripting, i reserve programming for my job.
And if you don't at least try, then we all know that Rian is full of bull (but then, that wouldn't be much of a suprise. He was, after all, the one who Bluedev had to personally tell that Seht is dead! ).
