This is a book I wrote as a journal entry of a Redoran soldier fighting in the defense of a Nord invasion through the Rift Pass. I didn't set a date or time to it, as it was a more spur of the moment kind of idea I had. I feel it might suit the identity of House Redoran quite nicely, but let me know if I'm mistaken. I also wanted to try writing something a bit more serious in tone than my previous two submissions which are intended to be more comedic.
A small book meant to be mildly comedic written by an anonymous fan of guars. Just something small that I threw together because the idea came to me.
Edit 1: Added a paragraph of the authors first encounter with a guar and adjusted a few other sections to try and make it flow through a bit better with the new paragraph. Thank you for the suggestion Violet!
Edit 2: Upon my own re-reading of the book I found multiple spelling and grammatical errors that needed to be fixed and a few parts of the story that needed slight editing to aid with the flow of the narrative.
This is my first attempt at a contribution to the project. This is also really the first time I've done much in the way of "creative writing" so I'm not entirely sure how it turned out. The character is meant to be a kinda annoying fish out of water, and the story itself is supposed to be a bit humorous.
[This one finds this “interview” most intriguing. The Hist is not normally something that can be understood or interpreted to place into simple words. The emotions and feelings the Hist elicits, especially to we Saxhleel, are incredibly deep and complex. That one of (what appears to be) non-Saxhleel origin can apparently commune with the Hist in such a way could be potentially groundbreaking. The era this piece was written in is unknown to me, but the interviewer appears to be of human origin.
